Yes, UWRF! LaCrosse was "where the men are men and so are the women," athletics was big there when I was in college. Great movie theater in RF -- $5 bought two tix, popcorn and pop. (Dang, I'm old!) From Moo U we often traveled to Cookie Tech (Stout) for athletic events. A few hurricane watches in Eau Claire, you know, the usual.

LOVED the old TORNADO Watches sponsored by the TKEs, the fraternity across the street from mine (FIJI) where we had amazing purple watermelon parties. I guess with the crackdown on binge drinking they had to close the bar with free beer in the basement.

Fiji's.  Didn't you folks hang at the Brat Cabin (I think), now known as the Pickle on Water Street?

We played ball for Cameraderie, so spent most of Water Street time there.  Otherwise it was Clancy's, Mousetrap, Bottle and Barrel or Wigwam (more downtown) for us.

Yes. Loved Camaraderie too. Shenanigans was big. Old Home Tavern. Probably all different names now. Haven't been back in at least 10 years.

Actually, Old Home is the one I was thinking (the now Pickle).  Brat Kabin was across the street.  Pioneer still there, so is Shenan's.  The Cam burned down and Dooley's was built in it's place.  House of Rock just recently closed.

I was invited to the employee Christmas party for Clancy's bar.  And I didn't work there.  Impressed the hell out of my then girlfriend (now wife).    Only because I was there about 4-5 nights a week.  Back when you actually wrote checks, I looked back and for one stretch, out of 75 checks I wrote, 70 was to Clancy's Bar.
