Niner fans think Green Bay is trying to "steal" the #1 pick by tanking

After what we saw last sunday I think there is a good possibility they lose out whether they tank it or not.  At a minimum I think JAX and DET will win more games putting GB at #8.  And let's not forget, it's not just the #08 pick, it's the 8th pick in every round.  That just seems too good to be true after all these years.  MUST make hay next May.

Hope they have a shot at this guy...

Looks like a lot of DL projected for top 10.

Oh absolutely there is a lot of DL projected that high.  I can't rememer names but Clemson's DL should all go high and the DL from Bama as well.  

OL with that first pick. Right side of the line in GB slides a little deeper into the abyss every week. Need a permanent long term solution for Bulaga.

Yeah, I've lived in or near Whiner Xanadu for the better part of my life...I can vouch their delusion knows no end...

Really, no position is off the table save P or K. If Güberknöcken has a franchise QB fall to him, he has to pull the trigger. DL, DB, LB, OL, RB, TE, WR are all acceptable picks.

Tank?  How could we tell?

We got a chance at getting as high as 4 thanks to the Cards game.     I don't think it will happen, will probably end up at 14 or 15...   (Insert the sad pony pic )

I don't have that kind of time. In fact no one has. 

Seeing some mocks with DE Josh Allen going to the Packers. Don't know if he'll be around when the Packers pick (currently sitting at 10), but he'd be an instant disruption the Packers haven't had in forever. 

If they have a chance to get a top 5 pick by virtue of tanking then I say tank away.  Not sure when they’ll be picking that high again so I would do everything possible to get as good of draft position as they can.  

It would seem there are several really good defensive prospects (especially DL) that will be available in the top 10-12 range.   I know they need OLB and OL and S but you team up another stud DL with Daniels and Clark and look out.   We won’t need elite corners if you get a really good DL that can disrupt the OL and get to the QB. 

Amazing how the importance of OL fails everyone until they watch the OL fail on game day. And it happens every week....

You cant win shit without a great OL. You have the ball. You can dictate what you want to do with it. At your discression. For 60 minutes. You own the defense if you have a great OL. 

Stop this bullshit about more defensive players. 

So your draft priorities would be?

1. OT?

2. OG?

3. Pass Rush?
