Iโ€™m Fucken done with it!!!!! Itโ€™s just more RECKLESS BEHAVIOR by Gute.  Chasing Unicorns in the draft and overvaluing the RB position as he continues to starve the receiver position out!!!

Should of figured this was the route he would go!!

Okay now I know youโ€™re just trolling. I suspected as much with your โ€œstabbed Rodgers in the back commentโ€, but this confirms it. To be fair I assume everyone new is trolling until they prove otherwise, but this hilarious melodrama is reminiscent of some other newbies of the last couple years who have curiously disappeared. Youโ€™re not causing problems, just stirring up conversation by being irrational, but letโ€™s keep it that way.

Who was the irrationally optimistic troll that was here, Trophies? I canโ€™t remember, theyโ€™ve come and gone itโ€™s tough to remember.

They did โ€œStab Rodgers In the Backโ€ and yes there is frustration from three years of incompetence and a lack of WIllINGNESS to put necessary tools around Rodgers.

You carry on with these Absoluteโ€™s that โ€œThis and that canโ€™t be doneโ€ when in reality it can and is being done for other QBโ€™s around the league.

Itโ€™s same old thing with this normalcy bias and people constantly making excuses for the Packers front office.

Right, but because Iโ€™m now 100% sure youโ€™re just trolling for a reaction Iโ€™m not going to give you one. So you may want to test the waters in another thread with someone else. I recommend trolling Fedyaโ€™s Movies to TiVo thread with a controversial take about Lucille Ball, he wonโ€™t be able to resist.

Whatever man!! Do what you do!! Iโ€™m not gonna respond to an onslaught of people going way overboard on me even though I explained exactly why and gave several valid points as to why it gave cause for concern.

Iโ€™m done with it!

I think that's a pretty spot on summary for me as well.  Considering the type of offense they are running, signing Jones wasn't a bad move at all but I wouldn't be completely broken up if it didn't happen.  The fact remains RB signings in this day and age can be real duds.  If his contract is team friendly in regards to cutting bait then it's worth it.  Jones does a lot more in this offense than just run the ball.  He frickin' bailed out the 2019 WR position.

Either way, considering the cap and Jones deal, the draft is that much more critical.  There has to be contributors this year.

As much as i like what I've seen from AJ Dillon, I'm not as convinced as some that he can just step into a starting role where the bulk of the running game falls on him. I'm still pissed off with Jones' performance in the Tampa game, but he's too dynamic to cut loose and not feel a dropoff. His presence opens things up for people in the same way that doubling Adams should in theory create opportunities in other spots. Players like that are key to allowing MLF and AR to pick their spots and exploit the defense as they choose.

The reason the offense made the jump it did from 2019 is in big part due to more guys contributing. But I agree, they need more. A guy like Allen Robinson opposite Davante could devastate defenses, but will cost too much. Samuel could be a guy who opens the offense up in a big way with his versatility. Either way, they need something to boost the wr position. Funchess may be just a guy, but his vet presence will push the #5 wr off the roster and be a slight uptick in the unit as a whole. But even that's an unknown at this point. A savvy slot guy and/or a wideout in the draft should be of some priority even if it's in the middle rounds. Buffalo's offense made a huge jump this year, most would say by adding Diggs, but I'd argue Beasley was the real get to give Allen solid veteran reliability.

Tonyan making a splash was big last year, and we can hope they know what they have in DeGuara in the same manner, but he lost a whole season of reps, so he's a question mark. With Jones back, I think they need to add 2 new contributors, whether it be a rb, wr or te. No major overhaul is necessary, but I gotta hope that it's in their scope to go from a great offense to an elite one. It's there for the taking if they have a plan.

And ruin a good thing?  I'm trying to keep this train rollin'.

I'M WITH YOU BRANDON!  THESE FOOLS DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY'RE TALKING ABOUT!

JORDAN LOVE DOESN'T KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A DINNER FORK AND A SALAD FORK!

My Intel says he is still โ€œGrasping The Playbookโ€

Itโ€™s gonna be an EPIC DISASTER  if Gute doesnโ€™t lower is Ego about 10 notches and get this extension done!

And people wonder why the Germans Lost the War!!!

If the above is true, I'd imagine Fuller would be among the top of the list. They wanted him last season, then the trade falls through, then he gets suspended.

Obviously, they gotta be sure whatever the drug test issue is gets resolved. And to make sure it won't happen again.

But this offense would be flat out terrifying with a legit #2 WR along with MVS as your 3rd. Christ, they may put up close to 40 points per game. Who needs defense...

If Gute/Ball can land A Jones AND Galladay then it won't matter if we even have a defense, that's a 50 points per game offense!

I was on record saying they should have dealt for Fuller before the deadline, but thatโ€™s why Iโ€™m not a GM.  It would have been a disaster given PEDs and suspension.   So Iโ€™ll pass on him.

Golladay is going to get huge money.  Godwin and Robinson have already been tagged.  Samuel should get a big payday because heโ€™s only 24.  Corey Davis is interesting.  Marvin Jones and TJ Hilton would seem more in line with what the Packers would be willing to pay.

You mean the German's had salary cap issues?  Hitler tried to extend Goering and Rommel many times, but they were uncooperative. Ended up paying too much for Tiger tank divisions, which everyone knew did not have a long shelf life.  Really needed a second division of capable Luftwaffe.

Just messing with you, Brandon.  I am bored with job-hunting today and needed some diversion. To your point, there are many examples of highly paid RB's who did not pan out for long.  Jones has been used carefully, however, and he means as much to this offense as Kamara does to NO's.  I don't think Elliott or Cook are as multi-dimensional as Jones and Kamara.
