I know Brandon is fairly new here.
I understand he claims to have played college football. It's pretty commonly known here Brandon, that I was an 2 time All-American at Nebraska in the early 80's (I even got to be on the Bob Hope Christmas Special twice) but I don't wear my "Superior knowledge of football" button here like you seem to.
Pretty sure it was Soupy Sales, not Bob Hope.
Still, it was a national show.

Iâm not here to write an autobiography or compare resumes. I never claimed to be right all the time. For example; I was dead set the Packers needed to draft Parris Campbell a couple years ago and that probably wouldnât of turned out that great. If I stick around which I would like to some might see I am right much more then wrong. Iâm not one of these âNegative Nancyâsâ that is gonna poo poo on every move just to do it. I call it as I see them good or bad. I am interested in âThe Howâ & âThe Whyâ. I canât just delve into complete Homerism.
Part of the reason I moved back to Green Bay was to get as close to this thing as I possibly could. I am now on the tail end of it and as Iâve first posted when I got here Iâm burnt out. Not because of Green Bay. Not because of Packer fans. Not because of the weather. Not because of the playoff losses. Not because of Lambeau or really anything other then one thing. That one thing is this Front Office. I donât have the time or space to completely go over all that right now.
So if I come across as harsh or impatient I can understand. Bear in mind this didnât happen over one or two off-seasonâs. This is a cumulation of several years.

How much thread space is going to be used harping on Brandon instead of talking about football? Heâs not causing problems, heâs just baiting some of you into a reaction with a purposely unpopular opinion, but he IS actually talking about football.

Iâm not holding my breath on Funchess at all. I was 50/50 on him last year. Now weâre dealing with a player that has played in 1 game since 2018 so my expectations arenât super high. I give it a chance but not holding my breath on that one.
Snacks Harrison wasnât in the best shape and at this stage probably needs to retire. Good player but I just question at this phase how much he is willing to put into it. You get into the roster spots with a guy like that and he is gonna be 33. He would have to be totally committed for it to work.
Neither of these guys give me any real optimism at this stage. Funchess could surprise but Iâd call it a long shot. Once again the lay off and the injury history. Bad combo.

Oh I assume everyone on X4 except me is just you Henry playing 2500 different characters as some kind of abstract performance art targeted at me specifically. I assume these threads are just you talking to yourself except when I chime in.
Hopefully this year I get into camp and get my eyes on things rather then hearing everything second hand. That would be helpful.
