If Jaire Alexander told Rodgers this might be the year would Bak be called for holding anyone while Rodgers beats the living shit out of Kevin Kings contract?

Lancaster was the bridge too far.

Lancaster did average a little over 1 tackle a game last year. He never made contact with the QB and had no tackles for losses.

He played 352 snaps last season. You'd expect a RB or a QB to slip in front of him at some point and get a cheap sack or TFL or get credit for one of those sacks defensive guys get when a QB runs out of bounds for no gain and they are the closest defender.

Team-friendly may mean come to camp and if you make the team we will pay you a minimum salary.

Lancaster was the only Packer who could tackle Alvin Kamara on that week 3 play vs NO, where every GB defender's arms were broken from not wrapping up Kamara, ever. Lancaster ran the length of the field from scrimmage and tackled Kamara, in the end zone. Yes, in the end zone, but he tackled him, nonetheless. Now, the DC can work on the rest of our defense's tackling issues. Lancaster is depth in a rotational setting. We should find his replacement in the draft.
