Depends what the level of "domestic violence," is.
We had a kid coming to Fresno State many years ago named Pisa Tinoisamoa who got popped for a "domestic violence," charge...it was a fist fight between him and his older brother where his brother was the aggressor. His dad and coach tried to explain there was nothing to it, it was very common in the Samoan culture for siblings to scrap...but a police cruiser happened to be driving by, saw it and arrested both.
We pulled the scholarship offer because of optics, kid ends up signing with Hawaii, is a model citizen there and ends up playing many years in the NFL without incident.
Not saying Wyatt situation is similar, but IF the Packers draft him, I have confidence they have done their due diligence and the risk is low.
Tampa will draft him. Perfect replacement for Suh
Suh was exactly who I thought of. There were some issues with him coming out of college as I recall....
An analysis of likely WRs for the Pack.

Maybe he just needs an anger management class. He does have talent and might be a steal in the long run. I say give him a chance.
Went to anger management. The instructor kept pissing me off, so I left.
Can we let him take out his anger on the NFC North? Just sayin', that might be fun to watch... π
Anger Management? Mine's a motivated self starter.
How about this DL from Oklahoma?
I have to say, after having more time to look more at the draft choices for the early rounds, I'm not seeing a receiver that stands out as a must have. We really do need to add some speed though. Watkins is going to be our fastest receiver until or unless we draft/acquire someone faster later this year. Then there's Cobb who's pretty much done but AR, you know. Lazard is slow. Who knows about Amari, but he wasn't drafted as a burner. We could really use a TE too, although I'm not sure there are any worth a pick in the first round, let alone the second.

Wasn't it Ron Wolf who made the comment about Wayne Simmons, something like we're not looking to draft pussycats or something? I don't remember, but Simmons had some issues and we drafted him anyway. It was a good move, because he took his issues out on all of our opponents. He brought some much-needed toughness. What happened to that guy?

My sentiments exactly! This isn't actually that great of a receiver draft.

Wrong year to be that way for us, but it is what it is.
I don't think this draft has a Jefferson or a Chase in it but there's going to be a number of really good receivers. Some of them are going to be garbage. Don't take those garbage guys. Pretty easy.
Well, it is not terrible. I just don't see the super stars in this class.
Yeah, like I said, no Chase or Jefferson. But I bet there's going to be 8 or 9 teams that end up happy with the guy(s) they got at the draft position they picked their guy(s).
And if the Packers are one of those teams, I'm not gonna complain.
8 or 9 teams may be pushing it. First and second round receivers bust a lot.
I'd prefer one of the big fellas from Georgia and an oline stud in the first round. Recievers in the second.
@Goalline posted:8 or 9 teams may be pushing it. First and second round receivers bust a lot.
Well, I'm talking about the entire draft not just the first two days. You know there's going to be a couple of guys that end up being better than their draft slot.
But yes, there will be busts. Let someone else take them.
Yes, Kittle, Deebo Samuel....

Which puts us in BAP mode pretty much. No need to reach on any of the available receivers. I just hope we have a really good overall draft with 2 #1's and 2 #2's.

There's always those. Tom Brady in the 7th. Donald Driver. It's a crapshoot, but it's fun to speculate and watch, and then witness (hopefully) the development of those players.

Ah, got it.
My no-trade PFF Draft for the day... Unless you take the top-ranked player with every pick. you'll rarely if ever see an overall grade of A. I de-emphasized WR, taking Pierce in the 2nd. Watson was already off the board. I could have gone with Tolbert. Pierce was my choice. Overall, not too bad, I think...I missed out on Bo Melton and Velus Jones late...not sure I landed a decent kick returner...maybe with Weston or Taylor. A RB at #228 might have made more sense, too. I don't think Booker is on the board there in the 7th round.

What I said, pick the BPA on their board.

Love Winfrey. The guy tore it up at the Senior Bowl, too. The knock is he's a pass rusher/penetrator and his run defense lags

A sad, tragic ending for a very good football player. Same goes for Derrick Thomas.

I would be just fine with Winfrey on the D-Line.
Why Jameson Williams Is BY FAR The Best WR In The Draft! (Film Breakdown)
Makes you kinda' hope he becomes a Packer...

Agreed. I didn't have time to take a closer look until last night.

I'd rather have Jameson Whiskey....
There are multiple teams with multiple RD1 picks this year. If his rehab is going well one of those teams slotted above GB will take him before 23.

I'll drink to that! π₯
I can't tell if the glass is half empty or half full... lol

Olave at 22...we could do a lot worse.
Raimann at 28 looks really good.
No problem with McBride at #53.
Winfrey's a great pick at #59.
I don't know enough about Domann to say whether that's a good pick. No safety or corner there? Where's your Edge rusher?
The other guys are depth...I get it...
I love the Araiza pick but:
1) he won't be there, and
2) it's already been made clear we have our punter.
Where, or who is your ace kick returner? I think we need to find one in this draft.
