big plus to Julius Peppers, I thought he led the way disrupting Eli in the second half. I suspect he will play like a man possessed next week.
On the Jordy non-catch injury play. It looked like the defender in front of him almost got a hand on it and maybe blocked Jordy's view or perception of the trajectory of the ball just a bit...that might've caused the bobble.

Just about everything. Defense played well enough and after a slow a frustrating start the offense was functioning like a well-oiled machine against one of the best defenses in the league.

Injuries again.
Going for it on fourth down at that point in the game and field position was a mistake. Just punt the ball and don't take an unnecessary risk.

Great job by the defense tonight. The Giants are no offensive juggernaut, but Eli tends to heat up in the playoffs and the Packers shut him down.
kudos to MM and the team for figuring it out after the slow start. And kudos again to the defense for keeping them in the game until the offense figured it out.

This isn't a good third or fourth and short team.....punt the ball when you're in your own zone. Dumb decision to go for it, even dumber play call. That said, it should have been a 15 yard facemask penalty.
Jordy's injury. He's the best receiver on the team, but as great as he's been after getting rid of the rust, this team is full of offensive weapons. They'll be ok if he can't play next week.
Randall: Don't be Darlene Sharper. When your team is up by 25 with less than a minute to do, and you intercept the ball in the endzone.......take a knee. Don't extend the play and risk injuring yourself or one of your teammates. The last thing this team needs is another injury.
How do you miss that facemask????
Did Dom save his job?
What a game!!!
Hungry5 posted:Dom, when hit with injuries he simplifies and lets the players play.
I'm not so sure about that. They were disguising coverages, rolling coverages and generally being a royal PITA to try and get a read on. Gunter had some help over the top in some formations, not in others. They'd pivot in to and out of press man formations. It was a very non-simplified simplified.

Good GIF. The cat looks like the X4 word policeman himself throwing another hissy fit.
I had no problem with Randall going Sharpier on that play. Randall played with confidence and swagger today. Corners are like relief pitchers in baseball. It's so easy to lose it so you have to overcompensate and that's what I saw of 23 last year. No fear. A little cockiness. And look how he did? Really well.
I know a bunch of Cowboy fans, many friends of my kids. They are just like catts but younger. They never learn.
I have been sending them this. It has been an annual event for some time now, or whenever we play those folks. Sorry for re-upping it but it is oh so true.
I respect the team and the franchise, yes Jerry too, and most of their fans, but their hubris is striking even by NFL standards.

Awesome.
Oddly, both @AaronRodgers12 and Connor Cook are considered to be playing the same football position.

This game was a microcosm of the entire season. Rodgers started out really bad, 4 sacks on the first few drives and very few completions.
After the long sideline pass to Adams it was game on....maybe even game over. This was the most awesome playoff game since the 2010 Atlanta game.
All positives. The only negative was the Jordy injury. What a performance by the entire team today.
The nation saw the real MVP this week.
On to Dallas. If the Packers can survive that first quarter they will win the game.
I can't wait for next week's game that will be played in Dallas, Texas.

Eerie
This #Packers playoff game was a microcosm of their 16' season. Slow start, injuries, Rodgers get hot & the team looks great (win)

He wants that ring. I'm guessing he retires if they win it all.
Love the + / - thread, win or lose. Great stuff! GBP1 in particular is nailing it, IMHO

What is a DVR? Is it an acronym for Dallas' Victory Run?
Dipsh!t Void of Reason.
Positives: Most enjoyable playoff game since Super Bowl 45. Some might say the Cowboys win in 2014, but I enjoyed this one more.
Negatives: I fully admit, I could not punch a hole in drywall like Beckham did so I will not call him a pussy. Sadly, hanging out with Justin Bieber is known to make people insane and Beckham is another victim to the madness.
There is also an "ate" in team

Completely agree Henry. Definitely could see Julius hanging it up if the Packers somehow happen to win the Lombardi.

PFF giving Jake Ryan a lot of love;
Ryan wrecks Giants’ West Coast offense
Giants head coach Ben McAdoo’s scheme emphasizes efficiency, using tight ends and running backs in the passing game to setup favorable down and distances. Much of the passing attack revolves around quick timing patterns underneath. It places a huge amount of strain on the linebackers to cover in space. Packers LB Jake Ryan responded to the challenge with one of the best performances of his career. He gave up only six receptions on nine targets, with two pass deflections. Ryan allowed only 42 yards, for 4.7 yards per catch average. In just 15 snaps, he also recorded a pair of stops against the run. Heading to face Dallas’ interior offensive line, however, will be a whole other challenge.
RE: the hole in the drywall:
It's on the visitor's side right?
I say put a frame around it. With a little plaque .

C'mon man. It's not that hard. Even with a sand texture over the top of it. Sometimes all you need is an ex-wife f'n up your life to give you that little bit of incentive to give it everything you've got! (Not that I know anything about it!)
