Was just going to mention the O-Line too.

Certainly they need to do their job but MM needs to help out the O-Line with quick hitters or dumpoff screens PLUS a decent running game. (Jones & Monty) The WR's & TE's (Hey Bennett, you hear me?!?) need to...you know...actually CATCH the ball & help out our QB too.

I still contend the reason Russell Wilson was successful is because of that defense & a strong running game. Seattle ain't HALF the team they used to be without that running game.

I hope MM challenged the entire team to step up this week because they played like complete garbage vs. the Vikings

Strong reason to believe the season is not sunk. Pretty much a craptastic performance all-around, and yet they had a chance to the last minute.

Gamblers believe in Hundley.  The spread started at +6 and has dropped steadily to +4.

Piss me off I should have jumped on it.  Gamblers aren't stupid.

I'm thinking Sunday is going to be a "Win one for the Gipper" kind of day at Lambeau.  Daniels and Matthews and Cobb and vets like that gettin' everyone all rallied up.

Put me down for the "Monty and Jones in the backfield" party. And some motion before the snap. Confuse the Saints defense. Monty is a real good receiver out of the backfield, and from the little I've seen of his blocking, he's done a pretty good job. Having him back there is like a security blanket for #7.

Jones will have more success than he did against the Vikings. I just have a feeling the line is going to play a hell of a game. Getting Bakhtiari and Bulaga back, and on the field for nearly the entire game, would work wonders for this team going into the bye. I know they're hurting, but suck it up for one game, boys, then you can rest for two weeks.

This has to be a win. I felt down after losing Aaron, and thought this was a loss. I even conceded as much to Armored Saint. Now, I'm not so sure. I think we've got a really good chance. Brett Hundley is going to surprise some people. McCarthy likes what he sees in him. He knows the system, and now he's getting a week to prepare as the starter with the first team.

The Saints better not look past us. All I can say.

Additionally, I'll be interested to see how McCarthy custom tailors the offensive gameplan for Hundley. Some nice play action passes would work wonders to slow down the opposing pass rush.

We'll see.

I feel good about this game.

but hearing during lunch that Brees has only been sacked 4 times so far this year tells me they're gonna move the ball up and down and around.  he's getting the ball out fast - not a specialty of the Dom/GBP defense.  somebody jumping a route early in the game for an INT would be nice to disrupt that quick pass rhythm.  cmoun D!

Bowman calling the defense after being signed Monday tells me two things.

Bowman is an incredibly fast learner. And Oakland runs a fairly simplistic defense.

Oakland isn’t particularly good on defense. But Bowman went on intincts last night. His read and react is still as good as it ever was. Also helps that they have Mack. Because Mack is a one man wrecking crew.

I like where Martinez’ game is right now. He can play football.

Ryan, Fackrell, Randall? **** those three. You put those three on the field at the same time and you’re giving up yards in bunches.

Well Drew Brees is much younger and athletic. Capers is an old man. I'm sure Brees would win in a fight unless that rug on Capers head cushions some of the blows.

McStupidface has false confidence in Hundley because the bulk of work he has seen from him has been running the scout team against Capers D

Running the scout team against his D? I would hope Hundley could have success running an offense against a 67 year old mans dick!
