I'm glad they minimize him playing back to backs and clearly planned on this by resting Middleton last night, but it would suck to have bought tickets as a fan tonight and then have him as a healthy scratch.

This makes a lot of sense. Not only is this a back to back, it's the 4th game in 6 nights and Monday's will make it 5 games in 8 days.
With another game on Wednesday (6 games in 10 days) expect to see Bledsoe or Brogdon get some rest against the Bulls on Monday and then have everyone available against the Celtics on Wednesday.
The fans won’t like it but come playoff time nobody will remember or care. You have to manage the minutes.

They got in from Dallas last night at like 2am... these back to backs are murder on guys’ legs.
That said, Middleton really demonstrates how dependent on GIannis he is. Him and Brogdon. Both guys should get raises, but neither guy is a legit, elite player worthy of the big investment.
It’s surprising to see them come out and play so poorly especially at home. The game wasn’t even competitive.
