Texans are the biggest pretender team in the NFL. "Oh watch out for Houston this year" Yeah, no. They suck, always have. They survive because they play in a weak ass division.

colts are a pretty strong team though. the way they persevered and beat the hawks today reminded me of the packers' giveaway last year.

it cannot be ignored that they beat both the niners (away) and the hags.

Excellent game today by the packers.

Colts are good. I'll admit I did not think they'd be very good this year at all. I've been impressed with them.

I think the answer is that he's partially figured out.  I think there are two answers.

I think he's being saved for later in the year.  Let's face it.  He is most effective at the read option and you can't do that every play on every game on 16 game schedule.

I think he is gaining experience in his throwing.  When Alex Smith was with SF, Kaepernick was a run only option.  He is early in his career.  Does that mean he is figured out?  Partially, but he and his OC are learning what he is money at.

I wish he was flash in the pan.  I think that view is whistling in the dark.

Kaepernick is really good -- especially when his receivers/Davis are as wide open as they are tonight or as wide open as we left them. When they were well covered in the other games, he was only good.

Schaub, on the other hand, has about as much confidence as the ugly kid at the middle school dance. He has doubts if he can hit a wide open guy 10 yards away. Next year he's a backup.

Besides EDS...

funny...

seriously though - kap is in a great situation with that team. think about it - his team really doesn't depend on him very much. sf had a great gameplan toay - run the ball behind that OL and watch schaub self-destruct. only pass when absolutely safe.

i just wonder how the broncos would attack sf.

Hope you panzies are staying up late for this other game. Dan Fouts, tho?

you are correct in terms of Kap. he has an added plus - comes in extra cheap for now.

we'll see how they play in no in a few weeks, since they may need him to pass more. i think harbaugh decided to go conservative after the seattle game. run the ball and play defense - should be good enough for sf to play most teams.

btw - did you guys notice the vikings picking up freeman?

if they have no more injuries they are still a contender no doubt. i would still put the hags ahead of them. probably no at the same level or slightly below. several teams right below that upper tier (GB, CHI, ATL (will win games against bad teams in their division), DAL (will probably win their division by default unless washington can improve).

right now I don't see any nfc beating denver (although dallas came close today) if miller and bailey come back. but, manning has had plenty of playoff stinkers so who knows.

Of course, but Goldie said "in Dallas" and they are not in Dallas...not even in Dallas county.

We don't give a $hit if they play on Mars, as long as Dallass loses that is all that we care about.

PS - my dog will eat your pussycat.
