Any loss that would benefit the Packers happened yesterday. The 'Aints going to 5-0 doesn't help, of course, but a Bears loss was very timely.

The Seahawks are the only team other than NO to be a game up in the (overall record) loss column. There are a few teams still ahead of us in conference record; the 'Hawks, 'Aints, Eagles, and 'Boys have no losses, SF and Atlanta have 1 (tied with us), and everybody else has at least 2.

Of course, everyone in the NFC seems to have relatively easy games this coming week, although some of them could swing on a big play. It's interesting to note Da Bears play Thursday night, hosting the Giants, and The 'Aints going to New England.

The Lions could have a tougher game than expected vs the Browns, especially if Johnson is out again next week. And who knows how the 'Skins/'Boys game will go?

In any case, the Packers positioned themselves very well with yesterday's win, especially within our division. Winning makes everything look better!

Of course, but Goldie said "in Dallas" and they are not in Dallas...not even in Dallas county.

We don't give a $hit if they play on Mars, as long as Dallass loses that is all that we care about.

Falcons are in bad shape for the moment, if not for the season.

Very one-diminsional on offense, OL is barely adequate with the exception of #75; he is way worse than anybody we've seen in Green Bay recently. Jones and Gonzales remain a threat, but that's the extent of their offense, by and large.

Defense has plenty of holes, too. They have got a couple of play-makers like Osi, but LBs and DBs are weak.

I guess the Jets were the better team tonight.
