ATL (6--6) at MIN (10-2)
Cap'n Kirk will need to be in top form. The Vikes are strong vs the rush but weak vs the pass.
The Falcons need to win if they're going to keep pace with the Bucs.
If Minnesota is going to start their annual choke job, this would be a good week for it to start.
F the Vikings!

CAR (3-9) at PHI (10-2)
Probably the laugher o' the week.
Normally, I would root for a huge upset by the Panthers, but in this case, it may be best for the Iggles to win. There's no other NFC team that can challenge the Loins for #1 seed, and I want Detoilet to have as few advantages as possible.

LVR (2-10) at TB (6-6)
Likely another laugher.
I'd just as soon see the Raiduhs pull off the upset, but they have maybe a 0.01% chance. Not that the Bucs are a powerhouse, but LV is a dumpster fire.

SEA (7-5) at AZ (6-6)
This has some makings to be a good game.
Both teams are fairly evenly matched.
A win by the 'Hawks would put them in the driver's seat for the NFCW; a win by the Cards puts them right back into the mix.

BUF (10-2) at LAR (6-6)
I'll hope for a Rams win just to keep them ahead of SF, but I sure won't hold my breath waiting for that to happen. Should be an easy victory for the Bills.

CHI (4-8) at SF (5-7)
I can't root for a TBSS win, but it would be sweet to see them deal SF another loss. Besides, it would get their fans all excited for a week or more, only to watch them get crushed again.

BUF having to travel across the country after the snow game.....and next week .....Buffalo plays the Lions. That's a donut game & has the chance to be a classic McVey masterpiece. We'll see!

I'm looking forward to seeing what the Bears do under this new leadership. Niners are a train wreck and the injuries don't seem to stop for them. Their playoff chances hanging by a thread.....a loss to the Bears might just be the nail in the coffin. Should be a good game with Bears showing some more un-scouted looks for Shannarat to deal with.

Bears defense under Everlose was pretty stout. Let's see if that changes without him.

I saw someone bet $3.1 million on the Eagles to win this week.  I will be rooting for Carolina.

(Checks notes).....

Most likely bet it at open, which means if/when Eagles win, profit $1,000,000.00

Line at -1000 now. which means same bet now only profits $310,000.00

Almost makes me want to root for the Panthers.

That having been said, once the line moved, he could bet $600K on Carolina at +600 and make back the money if Carolina wins, profiting around $400K.  The guy single-handedly moved the line.

That's exactly the bet I'd make. Sit back and wait for the game to end then collect your money. I usually end up with something like this on the Super Bowl.....although not that much money on the bet. Hahaha 😂

Of course, I got in trouble with you once for saying people who bet on sports deserve to lose their money.  I think is was the 11-10 Steelers/Chargers game back in 2008.

That game cost me multiple thousands of dollars on a 6 team parlay. Completely wrong

I'm climaxing!😆 Go Falcons!

Winston & Jerry Jeudy TD!! Stefanski seems to have unlocked Jeudy because he wasn't anywhere near this good in Denver.

Kirk Cousins is going to get paid a gigantic amount of money very soon to hold a clipboard. He's actually a really good guy to have as a backup QB. He's a good teammate and could be a very good QB coach/Offensive coordinator when he's done playing.

But backup QBs shouldn't be getting 40 million dollars of the salary cap. He costs the Falcons 65 million in dead cap next year if they keep him.

Penix Jr. was the most NFL-ready QB in the draft this year and he's going to play at some point. Penix Jr. is also only 18 months younger than Jordan Love.

Man, that horseshoe...
Could've very easily been a TO and Falcons ball well inside Vikings territory.
But, nope, ruled an incomplete pass, and they get to kick a FG.
But, not so fast... a phantom penalty on the kick gives them a 1st down, followed by the TD.

Is there a way just to play the games using the Honor System to officiate the games? This is worse than wrasslin anymore. The Honor System would be better than this.

They're just inventing calls and rules now and it's hard to enjoy a game when after every play, you have to look at the corner of your screen to see if the play counted. It's just so bad.

Another phantom penalty on the Falcons on that hold. The officiating advantage the Vikings are getting today is ridiculous.

Happens in every single game. No consistency from the refs. None

Watching the last 2 Vikes games with the Packers off, all I can say is that Dan Campbell might be a meathead, but I'd much rather have him coaching my team that Raheem I'm back for my second unsuccessful stint as a head coach Morris and Jonathon will anyone ever remember I was an NFL coach in 3 years Gannon.

Safe, conservative kicking of FGs in the red zone is not something winning teams do.
