It's been quite a while since I hung out at bar in SF. I knew a few places before Pandemic but now, I have NFI. One place I used to go is closed now I believe.

Anyone have any current info on Packer bars in SF or a current website to peruse?

Thx in advance

Hey Boris here’s some info as well.

Greens Sports Bar's Yelp reviews describe horrible bartenders, so forget that one.

Danny Coyle's on Lower Haight - Give 'em a call and see if they're putting the game on. http://www.dannycoyles.com/

The Ha-Ra Club http://www.harasf.com/
The Ha-Ra Club has been an icon in the Tenderloin neighborhood since 1947. Aside from drinks, the bar has pool tables and airs the NFL games on its 4K televisions. Fans cheering for any team are welcome, but Packer fans take game day to the next level here. The local Green Bay Packers Meet Up group chooses this as its place to come together and make Packer presence known. For those special occasions, such as birthday parties or group celebrations, Ha-Ra has keg tables for reservation.

Kilowatt https://kilowattbar.com/
The raised flags waving outside this bar say it all. There is a San Francisco 49ers flag and a Green Bay Packers flag attached to the same pole and flapping in the wind together. The volume at Kilowatt when the two teams are playing each other is through the roof. There are nine HD televisions around the bar so fans don’t miss a play. The dive bar atmosphere and 21 local beers on tap make it the perfect place to indulge in sports or just hang out. For those not interested in the game, there are pool tables, video games and dart boards to entertain. Kilowatt is open every day and night of the week and opens its doors early on game day.

Have a great time and

It's not for me. Just wanted some experiences instead of just using Giggle 🤭

But if it was me, I'd hit the place in the "Loin" that sounds great just don't drive there 😆

HaRa is a nice bar.  I own the Nite Cap bar at 699 O'Farrell Street.   We are one block from HaRa.  It's safe to drive there btw .

Been in southern AZ for 3 years, but had an IL in between the VA and the AZ. No changes though, sticking with PLVA

We're following the same path, minus IL for me.  When  I got out of the army, I stayed in VA, then moved out here to AZ in 2010.

Not really much here as far as exciting Packers bars.

I've been to these:

Killowatt: supposed to be a "packers bar" but really only slightly and that way. You'll see maybe 10 people in there with Packers gear during a game.

Mad Dog in the Fog: The same as Kiowatt, but quieter, less divey, and they serve food.

Local Tap: This is probably as close to a "packers bar" as you'll find in SF these days. It used to be called Zeke's and was full of people in Packers gear. That place  went under during the pandemic and reopened as Local Tap. It is no longer owned by Packers fans, but some of the old crew that used to attend at Zeke's have returned. The establishment has responded by hanging a token Packers sign or two amongst all the Sf memorabilia. You'l probably see about 20 people wearing Packers gear, and they'll hand out jello shots (ugh) whenever the Packers score a TD.
