Curious.....who here still has #4 and #12 jerseys???  I looked at my #12, and just put it in the Goodwill give away basket.  Still love my #85 jersey in remembrance of Max McGee.  My husband gave me that jersey with #85 (McGee) but with my name on it.

I have a Favre autographed football, road jersey and rookie card (all were gifts). I know where they are, which is not out. I never got any Rodgers stuff following that.

I have a #15 jersey that I will wear to Detroit for Packers games.

I have autographed pictures of Hornung, Lynn Dickey, and Tony Canadeo (a friend of my grandfather's when they grew up together in Chicago). I didn't get it directly from Canadeo, but I got the certified Goal Line Art autograph HOF series.

Cosmo Kramer was #84

Lots of great stuff in this game. Only real negative is Lloyd leaving early with a hammy.

If we find out it's because one is undersized like with Watson I'll lose it. If unbalanced muscle strength turns out to be a contributing factor to hamstring injuries everyone not in the trenches should be tested for it their first day in the building.

23-10 Packers beat the Browns! From what I've heard from camp and in today's game, DuBose may have made the 53. Melton was better as a blocker, today, than as a receiver. It is early though. GO PACK GO!!!

The line jumped from +3.5 all the way up to +6 then settled at +5.5 at kickoff.

Why in the blue hell did the line jump like that making the Pack a bigger underdog?!??!?

FYI.....I hit on my M/L and spread bets 😉 Stupid pre season games 😆

And chances are good the autograph is from Favre's brother.

I have a Favre autographed football along with Troy Aikman on the same football.

Marty Morhinwegs father got Brett to sign it for me.

A signed Favre dick pic would turn the memorabilia industry upside down.  Could you imagine getting one of those 16x20 canvas prints signed? A for-sure conversation piece for any man cave.

Football porn...

Hot takes from the game...

Limited sample, but the TD play to Wicks from a QB perspective was as good as 12 ever did it. Love is HIM. WR depth is perhaps the best we've ever seen. It lacks the "star" but any number of dudes can go the distance on any play. Some will say "it's the NFL, every team can say that." Not so...

OL depth looks to be the best it's been in a while...and without Major Tom...2nd team OL was mashing CLE.

Defense a work in progress...but many key guys esp at LB were out...I like what I saw so far in terms of aggressive play, and throwing different looks...if this was "vanilla," it was certainly "butter pecan," compared to the Dingle Barry scheme.

Bummer on Lloyd's injury...hopefully it won't keep him out long.

We won't know how much better this defensive scheme is until they need a defensive stop in the 4th quarter of a real game. Barry's scheme was adequate enough to win with (although far from ideal for my tastes) overall until it was 3rd and 5 with the game on the line and he played a soft zone that had the DBs line up 10 yards deep.

As long as I never see an uncontested 8 yard completion in that situation when they need a stop, anything will be an improvement.

Pretty impressive showing.   Both OL and DL looked really good.

I got one complaint, AJ Dillon as #2 HB is a joke.   He shouldn’t even be a HB.   Great dude, but he has gotten worse every year he’s been in the league.

From what I watched it looks like yet again a good and deep WR squad.  DuBose made some nice plays as did Melton.  Crazy to think those could be like the 5th or 6th options.

Jacobs looked good in a limited sample size but was completely unimpressed with Dillon.  I know he worked his ass off to get leaner but his instincts aren’t great and he literally makes no one miss.

DL group with no KC made some plays and maybe Wyatt is finally starting to become a force inside.   He and LVN had several pressures so that could be fun to watch this year.

Liked what I saw in the younger DBs and if I’m Nixon I’d be a little worried as the slot guy.  Cleveland seemed to be targeting him a bit so that will worth following.

And yet you're betting on them.

I thought Melton struggled. Left a couple plays on the field. Scoring play in particular. He needs to up his game with DuBose hot on his tail.
Feel the same way about Dillon as many have said. He had 3 chances to gain 1 yard and ended up -1. Granted his oline didn't help him much, but as has been the case before, he would seem to lack the vision it takes to be a consistent quality back.

Thanks for your perspectives, guys!
I was wondering what some others may have seen or noticed.

I missed most of the 1st qtr yesterday, but watched the replay on NFLN this morning. Both times, for me, was really hard to watch the trenches on both sides of the ball. Poor production values, no analysis, and very limited replays didn't help.

Two things I did notice:
1. Javon Bullard is a ball player.
2. Andre Dillard is not.

Joseph has a much longer career to pull from than Anders.

Anders has an 81.8% FG made, Joseph 82.6%

Anders is 50% from 40-49 yards and 60% from 50+

Joseph is 73.3% from 40-49 and 57.1% from 50+

The question is, has Joseph been head and shoulders better than Anders to dump a young draft pick with obvious superior leg strength (which cannot be coached)? Unless Carlson goes completely in the tank the rest of camp, I don't see the Packers going with Joseph over him.

Does he have a history of hammy issues with the Raiders?

Pass pro and familiarity with the offense may be why Dillon sticks, but no doubt in my mind that Wilson is the better runner (and not all that close, IMO).

Yep, if they aren't 100% comfortable with pass pro from at least one of Wilson and Lloyd you gotta keep Dillon. But based just on last night you would think 2024 is his last year as a Packer.

Agreed. Joseph might be marginally better right now. I won't be surprised if he ends up the kicker but for now I don't expect it.

Anders is still the guy.....until he isn't.

If the Packers cut him, he'll end up playing for the Bears or Vikings and crush it for a decade. His brother Daniel did the same thing after Vikings cut him. Patience......

from Andy Herman

"After being called an AJ Dillon hater all offseason (I’m not), it feels weird being called an AJ Dillon apologist today (I’m not that either). If you’re not a Dillon believer, if you like Wilson better, if you’re done with the Dillon experience, go for it, my only point is don’t base it on the 4 carries from last night where he had no chance to do anything… 🤷‍♂️ That’s all.

Dillon has reduced his body fat significantly, looks great ....but the biggest thing that holds him back is his difficulty "running to daylight". He just doesn't seem to have the vision that guys like Jones do.

Does anyone know what the "personal" issue was that caused Jaire to be scratched from the game?

On the Sunday Karma radio show Wilde said there was a death in his family. It's somewhere in the first hour of this video (edit: at 54:36 Wilde says he thinks there was a death in the family, nothing confirmed) .

I forget who said it first, but I agree there's a strong chance our kicker isn't on the roster right now. There's a lot of kicking competitions going on around the league. A kick is a kick. We shouldn't be putting too much into our camp percentages. They're competing with everyone in every camp that won't make a 53 right now.

My ears are up for snapping issues. It's still a problem so far in camp. That job is 1A for the kicking operation. We were spoiled for a long time on the FG unit. As of now we're in the churn until we get the players that can put the consistent body of work together. FG kickers have to be one of the hardest positions to scout. It's uncomparable to every other position on the roster.

The season is on the line every game if we're not sure we have the guy. Not having trust in the FG unit is a trophy snuffer.
