Why do they even attempt to throw it deep with Hundley? Unless it's some kind of trick play or busted coverage, he has a 0% chance of completing it.

Um, no offense but

From the believe it or not category: That was Brett Hundley's fourth 30-yard touchdown pass in his last three games, currently the most in the NFL since Week 12 according to ESPN Stats & Information.

Yep, it was a blown coverage. Still almost missed the pass even though Williams was wide open. He (usually) can hit guys when no one is covering them, I can admit that. The 54 yard TD he completed to Williams against the Steelers was a two yard screen. The TD to Cobb in that game was also a busted coverage (he was uncovered). Statistics can lie. In this case, they are.

That's two wide open receivers on busted coverages, and a 2 yard screen with great blocking and running. One of the four was a good deep pass to Adams. He sucks throwing the ball deep unless there is a busted coverage or the defense bites on a trick play. One good deep ball to Adams doesn't disprove that.

I think the Browns are slowly starting to realize the easiest way to get first downs against Dom is to have a 2nd or 3rd and 16+.

It's almost guaranteed because 16-25 yards is where the gaping hole in our secondary is.

That is an extraordinarily and bizarrely accurate assessment of this defense.

F' you MM for tolerating it.

F' you TT for tolerating it.
