For anyone goin' to this game and you are planning to sit on them metal benches, umm..better put on those double flannel long undies.

We always rent the seatbacks, though for that championship loss to the Giants with Favre we just stood the whole time.

And plan on fighting for bench space with extra large people and extra large attire.
@BrainDed posted:HELL NO. Dean Lowry is more fluid than King. King is strictly an outside corner where he can utilize his only asset, his length.
Yeah, thought about that too. I just shudder at the thought of Sullivan being out there. Ja is probably the quickest twitch guy we have in the secondary, so maybe play him as slot corner.

You were there? So cool, literally. We came so close that night. Thanks FART.
@PackerHawk posted:Yeah, I'm aware they can and will rotate the pass rushers. That's a given. I was asking about a package with all 4 in the game at the same time.
That's just greed!

I was at that as well.

My brother has season tickets and his wife doesn't like the brutally cold games, though she was there for that Seahawk Snow Globe game. Flew back on the plane with Corey Webster's parents. I recall they had the football he intercepted. Ouch.
The Game That Shall Not Be Mentioned.
Spent watching most of the game watching from the Section 101 tunnel. Every time I got up to grab a beer Packers did well.
My seat neighbors banished me.
Didn't help.
I'll never forget the 2,000 or so Giants fans there hanging around serenading Eli afterward. So crazy. No one gave them a chance, and were it not for the Jerret Bush brain fart (trying to advance a fumbled punt instead of just falling on it) we would have gone on to the Super Bowl.
We sure have had bad luck on special teams....
That game blew ass. Why rehash? Letâs talk 2014 next? Then we can move on to last yearâs shit show and debate 4th down. History lies in front of us.
Can anyone post that clip from
Rounders with LeFleur and McVayâs head superimposed on Matt Damon and Malcovich? That was the shit.

Somebody with editing skills needs to put up a video of that in super-slo-mo with a soundtrack of the Chariots of Fire theme music.
from Bill Huber
Mercilus: A change of scenery brought the best out of the 31-year-old Mercilus. In 6 games that included 110 pass-rushing snaps with Houston, he had two sacks and five pressures.
In four games that included 80 pass-rushing snaps with Green Bay, he had one sack and 10 pressures.
Of 144 edge rushers with at least Mercilusâ number of rushes, Gary was 2nd, Preston Smith was 17th and Mercilus was 36th in PFFâs pass-rush win percentage.
Hope I don't regret it but I sold my divisional round tickets for enough $$$ to pay for the divisional round twice and the NFCC Game once. Putting all my eggs in one basket to go to the game on the 30th...

I'll be there... likely too drunk to notice the weather.

Brother, have I got a story for you...
Right before I turned 16, I got burned in a house fire. Second and third degree burns over 70% of body. The treatment involved the use of a Betadine paste, directly applied to the open wounds.
Blair Kiel would be proud of the hair on my ass!

Holy shit, dude. That sounds horrific. Glad you made it!
I have to admit, I'm most "excited" about Mercilus practicing. We knew Z had a good shot to return, but Whitney is a huge surprise.
@GBFanForLife posted:With all these guys taking roster spots, who plays on special teams?
That's not a rhetorical question. Garvin and Galileo were on teams. I'm sure neither Z nor Mercilus are going to play ST. And those units need a boost. It's potentially only 3 games but each one is maybe a little important. Opponents will be coming after them too.
Good question.
@FLPACKER posted:Good question.
Linebacker Ty Summers, who has been on injured reserve since Dec. 24 with a hamstring injury, was designated for return Wednesday and took part in the full-pads practice Thursday. Summers plays on almost every special teams unit and ranks tied for fifth with five tackles.
âHe brings experience to the unit,â special teams coach Maurice Drayton said. âHe is one of our leaders, and he's done a great job the past few weeks in the classroom of leading and using teachable moments and echoing some of the coaching from his vantage point and from the guysâ vantage point, so having him back on the field would be huge.â

FART CHOCKED.
Whose roster spot is Ty going to take?
Amari Rodgers? One can hope.
IIRC, we get 48 game day actives now. Who are you choosing?

Starting this season, game-day active rosters, which used to be limited to 46 players per team, can include up to 48 players, provided that at least eight of those 48 are offensive linemen. (If not, the game-day roster size is limited to 47 players.)
AP out with itâs All-Pro team.
Davante Adams (unanimous selection), Aaron Rodgers and DeâVondre Campbell are first teamers.
Good to see Campbell get the recognition.
@ByRyanWood: #Packers have three first-team All-Pros selections:
QB Aaron Rodgers (34 of 50 votes)
WR Davante Adams (50 votes)
ILB De'Vondre Campbell (18 votes)
DL Kenny Clark got two All-Pro votes, tied for 6th at his position with Tampa Bay's Vita Vea.
What a story De'Vondre Campbell is. Signed off the street in June after nobody else wanted him. As @WesHod notes, GB's first All-Pro first-teamer at ILB since Hall of Famer Ray Nitschke in 1966. He's been incredible all year. No Pro Bowl, but now earns a first-team All-Pro nod.
