Yeah I've heard great things about Barrington.  Doubt it's this year but really hope he's the long-term solution at one of the ILB spots.

What's up with Lattimore?  Any chance he's challenging for playing time?

Imo Janis is a near lock for the roster.  That kid has every measurable and the word is already out on him.  His only question was the competition he was facing in college.  Even after missing the first few days of camp he comes in and makes big catches with great body control.  There's a few late round receiver steals every year and I have pretty good confidence in him developing into one. He may have little impact this year but he's a keeper.

Couldn't agree more about Janis. Would be terrific to have another bigger WR with wheels, like Jordy. If he can get his head around the play book and earn Rodgers' trust... sounds as if he's a playmaker.

Why did  WR Jeff Janis have his hand wrapped in a clear plastic bag Sat. nite? "Trying to keep my game notes dry." Says it worked.

"I think one of my best attributes is being able to stretch the field and have the quarterback throw the ball downfield and make a play on the ball," Janis said. "That's what I'm trying to get done." -espn (demovsky)

Couple of blurbs from Monday practice from JSO and twitter

Today's practice was closed to Public, but Peter King and SI were there and we should get a report on Tuesday, they already did the bears/lions/vikes

Great news: Morgan Burnett was back at practice today

Center JC Tretter allowed what would have been a sack when he lunged at Pennel only to have Pennel side step him for a free run at the quarterback.

"UDFA Mike Pennel, 6 foot 4 and 331 pounds, was called a "once in 20 years" talent before the 2012 season by his defensive line coach at Arizona State. A few months later, Sun Devils coach Todd Graham and his staff "couldn't wait to get rid of him."

....Now he's making some noise in GB

In one-on-one pass rush drills, OLB Julius Peppers took a rare turn and proceeded to whip LT David Bakhtiari on an inside move that would have resulted in a quick sack.

Rookie OLB Adrian Hubbard showed something in the half-line run still. Shed TE Justin Perillo to stop RB LaDarius Perkins

Bradford only got 8 snaps vs Titans, hopefully more on the speed-turf in St Louis

Datone Jones had a real good rush for a "sack" in this team segment. Has that athleticism.

Safety Sean Richardson with nice 2-hand breakup of deep ball down middle.

In one-on-one pass rush drills, OLB Julius Peppers took a rare turn and proceeded to whip LT David Bakhtiari on an inside move that would have resulted in a quick sack.

Made me laugh Satori

Yup...gotta friend that works in athletics at Pitt. Said the one year Graham worked there he managed to piss off a ton of people in the Steelers organization because they share some facilities.

Basically at one point, he bitched about nutrition and weight room quality, and the Steelers were not pleased. Basically "it's good enough for the NFL, but not for Pitt?" Basically, they were glad he left.

Dang, looks like I whiffed again.

It says "MMQB by Peter King" at the top, but the byline is from Klemko off to the side.

Bakhtiari is just learning from Peppers how to take plays off.

Best spray tan ever! Who is King's stylist?

Whoa! Jerel Worthy traded to Patriots!

@RobDemovsky: From Jerel Worthy's agent. RT @ChafieFields: Pending physical @packers DT @I_AM_Worthy99 traded to @Patriots!

@RobDemovsky: The "pending physical" part is key. Worthy hasn't practiced yet because of a back injury.

@jasonjwilde: Worthy, a 2012 second-round pick from Michigan State, tore ACL in 2012 season finale. He played only 12 snaps last season.

This is interesting:

@TyDunne: Worthy basically said he was good to go any day and that the ball was in Ted Thompson's court. Has been waiting for the green light.

Likely that TT has been holding Glass Joe Jerel out while looking for best trade opportunity. Don't want the china doll to break again. Meaning he was either gonna get cut or traded from the get go.
