I'm all about better draft position but the thought fizzles out when you consider TT is making the selection. Minus 12, GB is on par with the Cleveland Browns. Think about that for a minute.
If you play defense and the Packers cut you. You are pretty much the newspaper at the bottom of the birdcage.

He wasnβt cut, he was an UFA signing

I don't agree. There is a lot of talent on the GB defense. It's the scheme, not so much the players. The two RBs are decent and we have a Pro Bowl left tackle. They need an infusion of speed of offense at the WR position. They have two roster spots for WRs that never play an offensive snap (Janis and Davis).
The WR/TE spots are really what they need to focus on. They have no decent TE and Nelson is now Donald Driver circa 2012. Adams has had 3 concussions in 14 months - he's a big risk to sign long term. Cobb is about done too.
Aaron Rodgers, whom many consider to be the best quarterback to ever lace up the cleats, is very likely to retire from the NFL with 1 ring. 1.
You can blame Dom, you can make excuses for McStupid and you can even blow TT if it makes you feel better.... but the reality is that will be a massive failure by the Packer organization.

There's talent when healthy. But, take CB. When you continually are down to 3rd-5th string CB's starting or are playing safeties at CB, then you you will have a bad defense. Pass rushers-- Nick Perry has talent, he just can't be counted on for more than 8 or so games a season.
Whether thereβs talent on that d or not theyβre still missing that dominant force on that side of the ball, Clay Matthews needs to go back on the roids or something

One knowledgeable guy at the bar said Davis was fined 48K for the same thing last month.
If true, it should be way more and that's what he's remorseful about.

...YES!!! CB / TE / WR /Edge Rusher in first 5 picks
I'm not in the blow it up camp, they NEED a TE, a couple of O linemen and a couple of receivers. A pass rusher would be nice too. A bit of luck in the health dept is due this team. I am in the go all in camp tho. They need to do whatever they can to achieve the above roster....trade, draft, FA signings , whatever.
If TD does not see it that way, bye, bye Ted.
The future is uncertain and the end is always near...let it roll. The Doors.
Oh, Dom should not be around for the Christmas party.

Yep. https://www.usatoday.com/story...egal-hits/830758001/
Should be a suspension at this point.

Carolina WRs had 4 catches today (one was that crap "TD" to Byrd). The Packers were definitely short-handed at the CB position today, but that wasn't the source of the ugliness on defense. They found other ways to blow it.
according to Ha Ha a few weeks ago heβs playing great. I guess I donβt see it, there were 2 tds that happened right in front of him. Didnβt play the man or the ball. One play were you can see Olson open up right in front of him, again nothing but a easy pitch and catch.
We are truly spoiled with the 25 year run of QB play. Iβm of the mind there are good/better than average pieces in some key spots but man they are either getting no development from the coaches or the talent is grossly grossly overvalued.

Yea, we phookin' need more WRs for Bert, damn, we be wasting his best years.....

Only with Falcon win tomorrow.
Rooting for a Falcon loss if only to see Rodgers hurt the Vikings.
Actually I would rather see Hundley beat the Queens, that would sting more.
As has been discussed here in the past, we have some decent Strong safety's , but no real Free safety,

I agree, a hit like that should be 100K and a 2 game suspension. Try that for a season and see if you see the same number of those kinds of hits. Losing Adams killed us and may have jeopardized Adam's future in the league.

Ha Ha looks like he's afraid to do anything. Just lines up way off the ball and hopes someone else will make a play.
On the Carolina TD catch that was..and then wasn't...and then was, Dix saw the ball in the air and had 2 choices to make. Either play the ball or play the man. He did nothing.
They have a lot of important decisions to make this offseason. CMIII and Cobb and Jordy are making a lot of money and their best years are behind them. What stings is they had a guy sitting right there to be his replacement in TJ Watt and Thompson ****ing blew it. Horrendous decision considering the health and age of Perry and Matthews and the lack of talent with guys like Elliott and Fackrell.
By the way, a good pass rush covers up a lot of pass defense issues.
I think Adams and AR12 should sit out the final two games. We do need to know if BH is the right back-up and i don't think we've seen enough to say he is indeed worthy of a roster spot next year. In fact, we need the next two games to be evaluation as the 2018 season needs to start after MNF assuming Falcons indeed win.
We need pass rush BAD! Would fix a lot of the defense making a QB nervous. Need TE on O and RTFB more with he guys we got

I think King has the tools to be a shutdown corner so i disagree about tj watt right now but time will tell. Elliott is still on the team?!? I guess I didnβt realize that!

The reciever never had full control of the ball while he was laying out of bounds. The worst part about all of it was that it was ruled incomplete and then overturned. Nothing about the replay was clear evidence itβs a TD. Doesnβt mean Carolina still doesnβt go on the put 7 on the board. But it was a horrifically bad overturn.
I agree, but none of that changes the fact that Dix stood there with his thumb in his ass and watched the play like he was sitting in the 15th row eating popcorn.
From the angle away from official you can clearly see possession & butt down in play, it was the correct overturn.

Basically did the same thing on the two point conversion against Seattle as well, so itβs not just this year heβs don stupid things
Haha has been a bad joke this year.

Heck even push him out of bounds as heβs coming down from jumping up in the air.

What "talent"? There are probably 6 legitimate NFL starters on defense: Daniels, Clark, Matthews, Burnett, Perry and Clinton-Dix, with Martinez and Lowery marginal guys. King may (should) get there and Randall and Jones show inconsistent flashes. The rest are just guys thus far.
So a mediocre starting unit with no viable depth is "a lot of talent"?
Oh and while it was one of his worst games, the difference between AR12 and BH7 is gigantic.
Rams already up 34 in the second quarter.
And to think all we needed was the Rams to win today and the Falcons to lose next week to get into the Playoffs by winning out.

If you look thru G & G glasses we are loaded. I will say that #50 is better than marginal.

Except for all those who went on to make major contributions on other teams...which is about all of them, right?
I'm willing to give any player in the DC scheme of the past several years the benefit of the doubt. Let's get a real DC with schemes that work and then assess the talent. The DC factor is like judging the taste of a fine wine before opening the box.
even if we got in, what's the excitement about being ass-kicked for 5 years in a row - you really think just AR is going to take us to the SB? i am baked, if there are no changes, i am losing my energy with this team.

Murphy, TT, MM, and Capers have a great thing going as long as ARod stays healthy. They are paid handsomely but have zero accountability because the fans are happy the team is "competitive" and in the Super Bowl discussions during the off-season. Just wait for the inevitable injuries and scapegoat a couple of position coaches...then rinse and repeat
Will be interesting to see who ends up with a more severe penalty.
- Davis for launching himself helmet first directly and intentionally at the head of Adams
- Adams for flipping the bird to the crowd as he exited.
Knowing the NFL, Adams will get a fine of ~$20K. Davis will initially get a 1 game suspension that will then be appealed and overturned and he'll end up with no punishment beyond the 15 yard penalty.
