Joe Philbin = Galvanizing Moment?
The +1 seems very unlikely to me.
You lost me at "GB needs to win out"........
Gonna be a reeeeeeeeeeeeally strange game sunday. The only game I still want them to win is @CHI. Couldn't care less about the others. Wins are always preferred but losing out probably gets them into the top 10 for the draft.

Seattle is playing very good right now.
Vikings losing 3 wouldn't shock me. They always suck at the best moments.
Although....anything is possible.
So, you're saying there's a chance ...
8 in a row!
According to this, if the Packers win out they've got a 22% chance of making the playoffs. Not much of a shot, but it is a shot.

You don't have to read past "GB needs to win out"
Doubting Packerhawk.
Philbardi forgives you.
Looking forward to next two weeks so Mathematics reduces teams to what most believe have a chance now. I agree with sentiment of wanting to miss playoffs versus making it and being embarrassed again. *edited. Damn these autocorrect checkers*
Losing to a rookie QB from a 2 and 9 team from the desert at home in the cold is embarrassment enough.
It can't get worse then, can it?

It can always get worse.

"Our Philbardi,
Who art in Lambeau,
Hallowed be thine brain.
Thy game will come,
It will be won.
In Chicago as it is in Lambeau.
And give us this Sunday,
Our weekly win.
And give us many touchdowns.
But do not let others touchdown against us.
Lead us not into frustration,
But deliver us to the endzone.
For thine is the Guru, the leader of the Pack,
and the glory of the Cheeseheads,
now and forever.
Go getâem. Amen."
Even after the Minnesota loss, I still thought there was just a wee bit of hope the Pack could rally with a very easy schedule. It's just crazy how quickly that hope just died after the Arizona game.
#1 thing to work on from this point forward even if they aren't going to make the playoffs.... get #12 back to being #12 again. He's slumped before and then came out of it to wow us all. He may do that again, but he hasn't shown signs of completely coming out of it yet. Let's just hope that at age 35, he can figure out whatever is wrong because he's just a decent QB right now, not an elite one.
What if Minny and Seattle tie in their game?
they have to kiss
Kissing "Kirk" Cousins?

Or make them jealous.
Needs more Lombardis.
As long as we're talking about unlikely things, I would like the odds of my teenage abs returning.
Why settle for a six pack when you can have a half barrel?
Packer fans always have hope.
After the Packers have lost the next three games, we will be saying that we can STILL make the playoffs if the following teams planes fall out of the sky en-route to there last game .................... and the Packers win out. Not like any of that would happen. I don't wish anyone bad luck. May as well buy a lottery ticket then.

They must've run away with the rest of the teenager.
What happened the last time GB made the playoffs at 8-7-1.
The Bears win the division.
The Packers won the???
I hate pop quizzes
SEA has a greater chance of losing 2 of the last 3 than MIN. SF always plays them tough and KC is KC. Which means you would want SEA to lose vs MIN tonight. I mean as long as we're playing fantasyland.
Minnesota will lose to Seattle and the Bears and Dolphins.
Go SeaHags. You will never see me routing for the mother****ing queens.
I want this Packer team to have certain components scrubbed. New exciting head coach, new FA additions, strong draft....and saying goodbye to some cap sucking space wasters(Graham, Perry, Cobb, etc...). Making the playoffs might make some people in the Packer organization think things are ok now that McCarthy is gone - they're not. Let the scrub down commence.

I am right there with you and I can't EVER root for that team to win. Even if it means good things for the Packers I won't openly root for them.
I think you will get your wish this offseason. Gute has shown that he has the stones to take chances and to to make some tough decisions. I would go so far as to say that even if they make the playoffs the team will not stand pat and say everything is ok.
As for the salary cap I think they hacve some tough decisions to make but I don't think they will get rid of all of the top salary cap players because dead cap money can cripple the cap.
NFC so far has been top heavy with lots of mediocrity in the playoff field right now. Other than the division leaders there are only 2 teams above .500. AFC has 4 really good teams and a packed WC race.
I don't care if the Packers make the playoffs. It'd be a nice bump from what we've endured the last two years but would also drop us in the draft, which we need even more.
Can't loose situation.
A vikes loss always good.
But, in this case, a vikes win also helps.
But, in a sense, it's like choosing to root for Hitler or Stalin.
Either way, gonna need a shower.
