Beat me GBP so I deleted mine. Cowpokes/ Redskins Sunday Night.
So if we were to lose to the vikes we would most likely be the number 3 seed, and host the bears? This assumes they beat the lions and the niners beat Arizona

Actually if this happens Packers would host the Queens. Queens winning knocks the Bears out. So, assuming a Bear win at noon Bear fans will have to be huge Packer fans next week. That's gotta sting.

So I missed Peterson's stats today, what does he need against GB next week to get the record?
It would be funny if the attempt to get him the record and the gameplan the Vikings need to run in order to have a shot at winning were at odds at some point in the game next week. I could see Peterson throwing a tantrum on the sidelines if the Vikings were forced to pass in the second half to keep pace and he's over 100 yards away from the record.

Packers win 2 seed. Packers lose, they play Minny again at home.
I know all about Ponder. But if the Vikings are trailing by 20+ in the 3rd quarter and the Packers are selling out to stop the run, even they would have to take a shot at throwing the ball if they want to mount a comeback. I could see Peterson flipping out if the Vikings were forced into that situation while he was still well short of the record, especially if it didn't work (and we all know it wouldn't). I don't know if I'd count on the Packers being up by 20+ in the 3rd quarter. Vikes have a lot riding on the game too.
It would just be the ideal scenario leading to Peterson falling short of the record and a possible meltdown to boot. I expect the Packers to win, but I don't expect it to be a blowout.

I don't expect a blowout either. Divisional games are usually close. And the Vikes, with so much on the line, won't rollover.

I think the biggest thing that Houston did was sell out to stop Peterson and lost sight of winning the game. As much as Peterson wants to break the record he's more concerned with winning the game and getting into the playoffs. Should be a great game to watch on Sunday!

FOX doesn't have 2 games on Sunday do they? If not, we'll get the Giants game as the single....oh well, watching it on internet again I guess.
