Check it again. I think it was the Impotence Merit Badge.

It beats the prostate health guide that came with the large calipers.

RE: Orlando Franklin

I wonder if he actually regressed, or if his poor play was due to the overall trouble the Chargers had the past 2 years with their OL. Injuries wreaked havoc I believe.

That's why I wondered if he had regressed or was it a factor of so many weak (injured) links and he got swept up in the stink? He was pretty good his first 4 years in the league from what I recall.

Charger fans have nasty things to say about Franklin getting pushed into the backfield a lot of times last year. Pass.

Charger fans?? They don't even have a team anymore.

Let James Campen coach him up.

This was an interesting review.  We are so lucky to have so much intel posting hear.

Was thinking how letting both of our veteran guards (Sitton, Lang) leave for cheaper replacements has worked out.  Thank you Uncle Ted for signing Evans.

If Marty had an ounce of integrity, honesty, displayed actual effort, and knew about something called professionalism/honoring your contract, we would indeed be strong at TE. Thanks to fu** face, the Packers are once again looking at figuring out what to do at TE in 2018

CB is still an issue. The Packers hopefully have a solid #2 CB in King, a good 3rd CB in Randall, and that's about it. House is not the answer. Still chronically hurt and not a #1 CB. The rest of these guys are JAGS. Ted/Elliot or whomever will be looking at CB yet again as a high priority in the draft.

Evans has been a fine signing for the OL. Not a long term solution, but a very good pick up. Kudos to Ted for that signing

House has not been special at all. King has been a little better than expected, and will only improve. He makes a splash play every now and then, and QBs tend to go away from him even though he's a rookie. That says a lot.

Justin McCray signing was big. Good case to be made that the addition of he and Evans actually upgraded the OL.

I don't know if they upgraded the line from having Lang/Sitton/Bulaga two years ago, but they certainly have been good enough that the OL is more than good enough to win with (at a lot lower salary).

Snaps counts over last three weeks:

Kendricks = 46, 39, 29

Rodgers = 32, 37, 37

Looks like Richard Rodgers is moving ahead (or more likely, is already ahead) of Kendricks on the depth chart.

So does Angelichio get fired for this?  It sure seemed like Sam Gash got fired because he couldn't keep his #1 running back in shape.  Packers #1 tight end quit on the team, the other big free agent signing looks worse every week and the 3rd round tight end is still as mediocre as they come (which is probably the biggest reason why the last tight end coach got fired).

At least TT/MM recognized TE was a major problem and tried to address it. It didn't work out, but I don't fault the thought process. It's better than playing AJ Hawk and holding onto Carl Bradford for years at ILB without trying anything else.

The fear is that TT will go back to "draft and develop" exclusively and we'll be "developing" some mid-round TE draft picks for the next 2-3 years while our 34 year old HOF QB's window is closing. Now is the time to be aggressive and try to win in the next 2-3 years. We may go decades without getting QB talent anywhere near close to the level we've had for the last 25 years.
