More screen passes to Dillon. I recall many during the season where DBs were diving at his legs pretending to make a tackle as a cold-hearted business decision.

Don’t edit my jokes.

Ha ha. Official beer of the TimesFour game day thread.

Hubrisbrau, the only beer fortified with Hubris.

I think we have something there.  Might need to cut BK in on the deal, though,  it's the right thing to do.  Be watching for the new brew on the game day thread.

re-watching the earlier game from wk3, when 51 went out was when the shtf.  42 44 are simply not gonna cut it - so whether more olb can limit us using that formation or more db's those 2 dough heads cannot be on the field.  also noticed that i really miss kylen (sp) hill.  that guy could catch the ball on a ko or punt...

Thanks for looking out for me. If I had a nickel for every word or phrase I’ve coined here….

FFS...if you listen to the media, the Packers are the underdogs.

Not only are we going to win, but we're also going to kick the shit out of these asswipes.

They must have changed their tune after last weekend, which I'm sure is a first.  Before that everything I heard and read picked GB to win it all.

That Jones is being told that by other players is rather interesting. I don’t think of Lambeau as being “loud”. Maybe all that cheer leading that MLF does on the sidelines is helping …🤔

#Packers Aaron Jones said he's been told by many players in the league that Lambeau is one of the loudest stadiums in the NFL. Expects fans to bring that energy Saturday.

Times have changed at Lambeau regarding crowd noise.  I was at the game on Christmas and I was really impressed with how loud it was when we were on defense.  So much louder than years past.

The reason for the change?  The jumbotron!  It cheerleads and tells everyone when to get loud and when to be quiet.  And it doesn't really ask you to do it;  it's more of a command, with animated graphics exhorting the crowd to make noise.

And it works.  They even have clips of guys like Zadarius and other players telling the crowd, "Get Loud Lambeau!"

So much better than the old days when the geriatric crowd would continually yell "Down in Front!" and call Security on you if you got loud.  The peer pressure has completely reversed.

For sure.  Both games we went to this year were good and loud.  The team, especially MLF is very into it and prompts the crowd to get loud.  We have a good view of the Packer sideline and we can see many of them waving arms and towels to get everyone riled up.  It's fun!

Oh man is that true.  My first game at Lambeau everyone around me wanted to stand up and watch the game and like you said the geriatric crowd started yelling "sit down!" and everyone around us said no you stand up!

I laugh when Coach motions to the crowd to get loud……don’t see to many other coaches doing that.  I love it.  ♥️

You just realized this now?

Core STers on the worst ST in the league.

On Niner boards some some fans, given SF's DVOA STs ranking of 26, were conceding the STs matchup favors the Pack ... until more knowledgeable fans pointed out that GB is 32nd.

SF fans cannot believe that another playoff team has worse STs (while apparently not remembering that the long kickoff return before halftime is the only reason they got back in the game in September).

It really is amazing how bad the Pack's ST units have been for so long.

Hopefully SF poor STs will balance everything out Saturday night.

BTW, Rich Bisaccia as ST Coordinator in 2022, or would he be too expensive for the Front Office?

Trey Lance.

I won’t deny, I have an irrational fear of Trey Lance.  He’s about as raw as Jordan Love experience wise but a much faster more athletic runner and has much better arm strength than Garropolo and probably Love too.  And Lance grew up in Minnesota, cold weather is not likely to be as much of an issue with him.

I won’t be shocked if Lance becomes a very good NFL QB, I just hope he’s still too raw to contribute this weekend.

Lance will throw three picks if he has to play.   He's raw, holds the ball too long, doesn't show touch.  He can run the ball but doesn't show a lot of quickness and therefore takes the brunt of most tackles.  I would welcome him to Lambeau.

I had to step outside to collect my trash bin this morning. 14 degrees with a slight breeze. Similar to what it will be at kickoff. Bone chilling. Welcome to Green Bay SF where temps are in the 50's and 60's..

Say what they want about Jimmy G , but he wins. Shanahan 49ers' record with Garoppolo (22-8) versus record without him (7-26).

Per WSSP radio this morning, a source from the 49ers sent a text this to an NFL betting radio host and said "He's having a hard time throwing the football" in closed practice so far this week.

Other observers noticed after Jimmy G got sandwiched and injured his shoulder in the Cowboy game, he was noticeably off in accuracy and velocity. The pick he also threw in that 2nd half, the throw completely sailed on him.

Anyway, take it FWIW.

CJ Beatherd, Brian Hoyer, and Nick Mullens are the equivalent of playing Brett Hundley or D. Kizer.

Jimmy G. is like Kyle Orton or Tannehill. They get the mental side of the game and can go through progressions to find a wide open guy. More importantly, they don't lose games with mistakes. They just don't win them by making throws into tight windows against good coverage like Rodgers or Mahomes can.

The other problem with Jimmy G. is the Cousins problem. They are good NFL-level QBs that end up getting paid on the superstar level. It's debatable whether you can win Super Bowls with guys like Mahomes and Rodgers taking 30-35 million of space on your cap. I think you can, it just means you have less margin for error in drafting or signing other free agents. Jimmy G. or Cousins at 15 million a year would be a great way to build a team if you could spend the extra 15-20 million on a couple of other impact players.

Same here.  At my first game, a curmudgeonous woman told to me to "sit down or I'll call an usher".  I yelled at her "If you want to sit down, sit down in front of your TV at home!"

That's one thing I'll never miss about 'Sconsin.  That bone chilling cold.  Shuddering just thinking about it.  Our weather in Denver has spoiled me.  It gets cold sometimes, but not REALLY cold like there.  Our winters in the Denver metro area have a 45-degree average with almost no humidity and being a mile higher close to the sun, which usually means sweater weather outside.  It does get colder in the mountains, but still dry and even closer to the sun.

Just listened to the presser ... asked about Z and Jaire and said it would not be wise to play them as much as they typically would, given they haven't played in so long .... I can see that with Z, but Jaire hasn't been limited in his ability to condition.
