just a reminder: packers lost home playoff games after the 2002, 2004, 2007, 2011, 2013 and 2020 seasons.  it was fucking cold for at least a couple of those games and they still lost.  anyone who thinks this is in the bag is kidding themselves.

Go ahead and piss down your leg.  This year has nothing to do with those years, and if you don’t think weather and home crowd have no bearing in the outcome, I’m afraid you know nothing about football.

Not Long Island ice tea…….OMGOSH…..my first introduction to Long Island iced tea was on a motorcycle trip to a HOG rally in Bayfield Wi.  Had a couple, and thought what’s the big deal with Long Island ice teas….bout fell off the bike twice.  πŸ˜³πŸ˜³πŸ˜³ Oh yah, they’re good and killers.  πŸ€£ πŸ˜‚ 🀣

You ride?  Awesome!

Sorry, did, sold our 3rd Harley about 12 years ago.....got a Miata convertible, β€œsafer”.  Sold that this past Spring......hard to get in and out of.   But damn, best years I had, were on one of our Harley’s. πŸ‘πŸ»

I get it.  My wife and I have  Road King and it’s been a blast.  We love it, and spend most of our weekends in good weather riding with family and friends.  We’ve met so many great people doing that over the years.

Best time we ever had.......so jealous of you now....and keep the rubber side down.  πŸ˜Š πŸ‘πŸ» ❀️

He has. And Lazard has requested to play on ST. I read that so has EQ. My only concern is injury to starters. There is a reason many starters don’t play there but it’s win or go home time.

With the rule changes I wonder how much of a concern injury is anymore...I think it is more about splitting prep time in practice...they have a limited amount of on-field time.

Best way to combat this is tempo…can’t sub fresh DL if offense isn’t subbing.

23 personnel with EQ and Lazard would be a nice twist. Both block well, and both can run the jet. Also the threat to run with Jones or Dillon, or toss it to either. And then there is the option of throwing it to Adams.

Maybe less 11 or 21 early in the game will slow the rush if they are chasing 2 RB & 3 WR?

The teams that tend to give GB problems are those that can pressure without blitzing and have LBs that can disrupt or limit the short passes or slants and screens the Packers like to do.  Tampa and SF are those teams in the NFC.

Not sure I’d take much away from the week 3 matchup other than it was a close game and GB let SF hang around due to some dumb plays and mistakes/penalties. If the Packers can play a clean game I think they win by double digits.

Heading off to Lambeau soon.  Lots of talk this week about the Niners front 7, their world class running game and how nobody can cover Kittle.

Little talk about the best QB to ever play the game, Adams, two excellent RBs, Bak and Turner coming back, GBs front 7 that includes Z, Mercilus, P, Gary, Clark and Campbell and the likely return of Alexander in the secondary.

Kickoff temp is 10 with a real-feel at or below 0.

I have GB winning this game 31-17.

Go Pack!

ahem, if there are any questions about the quality of  football - go rewatch any of the last half dozen gb games at marvel at the absolute dimes and back-shoulder zen jedi level completions.  EOM.  they do what they do, SB time...

everyone keeps talking about how much the 49ers have improved since week 3. Apparently the Packers have not improved. I remember going into that game thinking the 49ers were probably going to win. It was only 2 weeks since the Saints debacle and with the Detroit win being the only thing in between confidence was not that high. Since that night tho, the Packers have been the best team in the league. I dont believe the game will be close. The defense will stop the run and Jimmy and his bum shoulder wont be able to handle the cold. Packers by two Tds...
