3rd and 11, and we throw it 30 yards down field. Ya, that's going to work, Mike, since all the other times we've thrown it 25+ yards down field has worked so well.

Capers is a big problem, but McCarthy is also a big problem. He is incapable of making adjustments when they are needed.

This is just killing me. It feels like we're having to overcome injuries and poor coaching. That's before we even consider the opponent.

Come on, Packers! I'm trying to remain positive here, but we have been outgained 488 yards to 56, and are down 33 to 10 with a full quarter to go.

You don't. Rodgers is too valuable to play in what will be basically a pre-season game.

Capers gets alot of the blame on here and deservedly so, but MM is just as much to blame as well.  His play calling sucks, he has had this team unprepared for the last 5 weeks, and he can't seem to make game time adjustments.

Yep.  It's clear he owes his a lot of his head coaching career to Rodgers and Favre.  The on the field results speak for themselves without Rodgers in there.  He's great, no doubt, but there shouldn't be this monumental drop off.

4 weeks ago there were dreams of Super Bowl.  The way they've played without Rodgers I don't think they'd beat Houston or Jacksonville.

This might be unfathomable as a Packer fan, but what about Lovie Smith? He's a very good defensive coach. His teams always go after the ball. They strip unlike any team I've seen before. Or, lure Bill Cowher out of retirement.

We need to do something, and I'm not so sure I want to wait until next season to make a move.

The bright side this thrashing is that the problems on this team have become so evident that they cannot be ignored.  Hall of fame okay by Rodgers the last 3 years has covered up a lot of weaknesses on this team.  A loss like this forces change.  I don't know how you fix it, but hopefully this loss sparks change.

I'd take Lovie Smith as a DC in a minute.

"We'll get it fixed".  Yeah right.

I'm not ready to see MM or TT gone. Can we just agree the fan created deity that was Brett Favre was more than enough? And the attempts at transference were foolish. Posts like TT must have brilliantly put out the rumor Flynn had an elbow injury, when in truth Flynn plain sucked are one example. And GB had to go back to him because of the cluster**** they made of the backup QB situation after Flynn cashed in.

We aren't the deepest most talented team. We're not the best coached team. We lost the teams lynchpin and it all went to hell. There is a great foundation though.

So would I.  I would even take him as a HC too.

Rodgers is the franchise and the foundation.

Yep.

Please stop offending my Jags-----they've won 2 out of 3.
