Way, way harder than it needed to be. But it’s a win.

Crosby has had a very nice start to the season.

Rodgers took his head out of his ass in the 2’d half

This run defense is woefully underperforming considering the talent they have.

+ Run Game

+ Gary

+ Cobb / Lazard

-  Lost the turnover battle, including the pick 6

- slow adjustment again to Pats going from zone to man coverage

- Clark losing his composure and letting a second and 15 change to a First & 10.

- Run defense

- special teams coverage

No style points in the NFL and a win's a win.

Doubs looked a lot like Adams on the back-shoulder TD. Continues to have some growing pains but the talent is evident.

Gary was dominant.

-

Pats almost won with a rookie third-stringer and the defense has lots of issues to fix.

First half offense was pathetic.

---STs coverage allowing big returns; Run defense is porous; Rodgers' passing was off in the 1st half; Elgton had trouble at RT; Did we underestimate the Patriots? It should not have been this close.

+++Aaron Jones can run; Lazard had a nice game; Watson with a running TD; Cobb saved some drives; Dillon pounded the ball; Tonyan with a TD; Mason Crosby is MONEY.

++++++

Lazard proved his worth both catching and blocking

Maybe the best RB combo in the NFL

Rashan Gary

Backup DBs held up pretty well

Run D

Some play calling 1st half  Just RTFB!!!!!!!

And you would have less cousins

Should that be “less” or “fewer”?

I’m a stickler for grammar rules….you should have seen my head explode when Aquib Talib called Mrs.Kiel for a date.

Rashaan Gary, Aaron Jones, AJ Dillon, Mason. Getting a W.

Special teams coverage unit!

AR12 was not accurate today.

Teams getting off a snap after the play clock expires.

As a 70-year-old I’ve seen the league go through lots of changes. The one that drives me crazy is how the definition of a legal catch keeps changing! Quit being so ticky tacky about it: if the player has the ball when his knee hits the ground in the end zone it’s a TD! The play should be dead at that point!

There’s a lot of room for improvement.

I think it’s obvious that they need to lay Yosh at RT.   Judon is awesome, so the pressure is to be expected but my point is that I think Yosh could have done just as well.   So you settle for that and significantly upgrade guard.

Also, when Jaire gets back, we need to get more creative with him.   Use him in the star / slot when you can to keep Douglas outside.

  • We may not be a great team today, but we have the potential to be great by seasons end.

based on what? Id love to believe this but we were just taken to the last second of OT at home by one of the worst teams in the NFL who was forced to go to their 3rd string QB and without their best WR.

I guess any team has the potential. Happy we got the W but many concerns across the board today.

Sandwiched in between the Brady game and the London trip looked like a cream puff at home. Gotta bring it every week.

Why would Nijman necessarily be any better at RT than Jenkins? I'm not certain Yosh has played any RT in practice, let alone a game.  I'd be more inclined to give Tom a shot.  I do agree that having Jenkins sandwiched by Bakh and Myers is a pretty formidable left side.

+ The offense was better in the 2nd half.  Great? No, but good enough to squeak out the win.

- While sitting on the couch, sometimes we can see things the coaches can’t, but I was pretty disappointed to waste that challenge on the Doubs TD drop.  I never believed that one would get overturned.  If he would have gotten 1 more step in before hitting the ground I would have agreed with a challenge and it probably would have been overturned.  The failed challenge cost the Pack a TO they really could have used that last minute of the game.

+ Dillon had his best game in a couple of weeks and Jones of course was fantastic in the run game.

+ It seemed like all the edge rushers on D looked very good today, Gary in particular.

- Elgton Jenkins seemed like he had a pretty rough day against Judon.  Hopefully that doesn’t become a trend or maybe Njiman should get a shot at RT once healthy again and Jenkins moves back to guard where he’s got Hall Of Fame level talent.

Doubs made some rookie mistakes, but when the game was on the line 12 trusted him to make some big catches and he came through

Maybe it's watching Jones, but Dillon always looks like he is leaving 1 or 2 yard on the field.  A couple times a game he makes a jump stop that nets a 2 yard gain when if he plowed through it is a 3 or 4 yard gain.

Serious nitpicking with Dillon, I get it.

Plus - Win

Plus - That one late run block by Newman

Plus - They played some man when they needed a big stop, and when they did, it worked.

Plus - Nixon and Ford on Special Teams.

Minus - Rookies. Watson, Carpenter and even Doubs almost cost them the game. On the plus side, Doubs did a number of good things, too.

Minus - Almost every other block by Newman

Minus - Fredokunst. With as many picks as they've spent on the o-line the depth and starters should be better. Yes, their two best are hurting, but they have to play as much as possible because the alternatives are crap. Nijman can't play three positions at once.

The Educator who posted below tells me I'm rong, for whatever that's worth.
