Bucks gave up 13 points in the first 2:30 of the 2nd quarter.
Bucks up 8 at the half, but Giannis picks up his 3rd foul right at the end of the half (he did save 2 points as Hart missed both FTs on what was otherwise a layup with 1 second left).
Lots of corner 3s by the Pels, but even more FT misses.
Nwora with a nice half. Only one obvious lapse and some nice catch and shoot 3s.
Bucks go up 23. Take Giannis out. Miss 3 three pointers early in the shot clock and the Pelicans got 8-0 and force a timeout.
Giannis ends the game with 35-16-10 in 32 minutes.
Nwora played well in real minutes and then added to it in garbage time. 23 points in 19 minutes. 9 of 11 from the floor and 5 of 7 from three.
No DDV and no Middleton (not counting Thanasis or Semi) meant some others had to step up. Grayson Allen and Jordan Nwora had big nights and Pat C and George Hill were really efficient.
Holiday is such an interesting player. He made a number of uncharacteristic mistakes tonight and clearly wasnât playing at a high level yet heâs still out there pestering others on D and you look at his stat sheet and Iâm sure most teams will take 20/5/5.
Bucks played lazy and uninspired for almost half the game but they flipped the switch to close the 2Q and didnât look back after that.
