Oh no, he was active.  He singlehandedly kept two drives alive with third-down penalties and dropped an INT that could have swung the momentum decidedly in GB's favor.

He did plenty.

Guion is terrible. It bothers me that TT on down, they believe he can do it. The Vikings know he sucks. Why can't we. Is TT worse than Spielman?

I don't think Guion is gonna be the answer, but in his defense (I can't believe I just typed that), he didn't really have much of a preseason due to injury.  And he was forced into a starters role due to Raji's injury.  I don't think that was ever TT's plan, MM's plan, Dom's plan or even Guion's plan.

I don't think having a replacement for Guion, whether it be Raji, Pennel or anyone else, would've made that big of a difference in last night's game.  The Packers never really got it going in any facet of the game.  Maybe Guion improves a little in the next couple of weeks.

I think Guion was originally a veteran camp body/olive branch  who suddenly has to actually play because there's no really viable choice. If Raji isn't hurt I think Guion is szelling used vacuum cleaners door-to-door and signing autographs at third-tier card shops and car washes.

I really do not know. it is difficult to have much of a dline rotation with only 4ish linemen.

Free agent DT Ryan Pickett worked out for the Texans on Tuesday.

Two weeks shy of his 35th birthday, Pickett started all 16 games for the Packers last season. He'd be reserve heft for the Texans' J.J. Watt-anchored defensive line.

Activate Pennell, promote Luther Robinson from the practice-squad (only 52 guys on Packers roster still -- right?).

Also activate the SACKMASTER. If Clay is going to miss time, they should get him out there. By the time Clay comes back, maybe the rookie will be acclimated enough to stick on the outside when they put Matthews at DE in the 4-3 package.

@AdamSchefter: Texans announced they signed former Packers NT Ryan Pickett, placed Louis Nix on IR.

Good for Big Grease. He still wants to play, can think of worse things than lining up next to JJ and in a D coordinated by Romeo Crennel.

What???? Not talented enough to flip burgers or smart enough to sell insurance?  For sure he could be the bouncer at Wal-Mart.
