I was listening to ESPN. And the question that was posed is this.

Does Green Bay NEED hfa throughout to make a run to the super bowl. Both hosts said no, and one said it wouldn't hurt. Louis Riddick cited the Viking game as evidence.

Thoughts?

The Lions are going to play Kerryon Johnson (Why, I have NFI).

I believe Patricia won't play some of his players for the entire game.

Packers obviously have to beat the Lions & I truly believe the Lions want the #2 overall pick (Chase Young). Winning this game only hurts the Lions future but the HC is going to put on the "We try to win every game" hat.

AFA playoffs -- Packers have proven they can win on the road (Chicago, Minnesota, KC, Dallas, NY) -- Honestly they're all impressive wins but the NY win actually impressed me the most -- because they got their asses whipped in SF & had to travel to the east coast the following week. Lesser teams would've wilted like a flower on a hot summer day. Not these Packers.

I want another crack at SF....yes IN SF if necessary. It would be great to play NFC CG in Lambeau but I doubt it will happen. I don't think Seattle is as good (right now) as their record indicates due to injuries. Guess we'll find out.

I see the Packers having to play the Saints in the divisional round, then if they can get by New Orleans, SF in SF -- unless you all think the Vikings can upset the Saints in New Orleans -- then Packers would play Sea/Phl (most likely in my scenario). TO be the man....you gotta BEAT the man (or men in this case)

So yes, Packers don't NEED HFA -- but it sure would be a "nice to have"

First.....POUND the Lie-Downs. Then we'll talk.

P.S. Not looking forward to the Lions having Chase Young, seriously.

At this point the Pack has so wildly exceeded my expectations, I won't bet against them to do something special assuming they get either a 1 or 2 seed which there is a high probability of that at this point.
