JC Tretter. Safety/Sack, then really settled down. Very good game.

Aaron Rodgers 2014 version. Hell of a nice time to show up

Running game got going.

This offense got it's swag back.

Neg:

Injuries

Ha Ha Clinton-Dix. All Game.

But look back at the drive when DeSean Jackson should have scored.

HHCD stopped him. Then on 1st down he stops Morris. On 3rd down he knocks down the pass in the end zone.

He is really becoming an outstanding Safety.

If Jordy Nelson would have stayed healthy, the Packers would have had a bye this week and the Cowboys would have probably lost to the Vikings.

where the hell was that all year?

product of WSH below average defense? MM/AR finally figure it out?

I don't know. But their offense was humming. AR seemed to be in total control. Making calls at the line.

+

Tretter  After the sack and safety don't think I heard his name again.

Defense  Best defense the team has had since the SB run. Good to see the offense carry its weight for a change.

Offense Other than the sluggish start appeared to have emerged from the funk. Need to see it against a better defense.

Injuries

Dropped picks. Counted at least three that  could have been made. Need those turnovers in the playoffs.

Washington's DBs are not good, but neither are the Bears or the Lions. They finally took advantage of some below average DBs.

And if Skip Bayless would STFU with stupid bullsh't, hell would freeze right over!

+ You could see the moment Rodger's started to care again.

+ McLazystupidface finally realized that the strategy when going North was different than the strategy when going South.

-  Crabtree has a face for radio, why isn't he getting paid by someone for this genius?

Why would there be pluses and minuses? They won the game. On to the next 1 game season.

Minuses: things that the better team they'll play next week will be more likely able to exploit.

Neg-

First quarter offense production was lower than dirt under a worm's belly.

Lacy fumble

Pos+

No where to go but UP after first quarter

Rodgers sucked it up and carried the team

Defense...despite a few lapses

Matthews, Perry, Raji, Peppers, Goodson, Heyward

Jackson slacking off on the east TD after the safety

Cobb key plays

Adams...finally!

Good to see some SIDELINE SMILES

Few penalties

James Jones

Rodgers

Oline played better than worse

Nice win to set up game with AZ

+ I was outside listening to the radio watching the game through the window.  Watched inside (for the first quarter) but dressed up (-3 temp here), went outside and they played better

-  Wife and kids think I'm nuts

Pluses

Tretter - held his own as the game went on

Starks - Great job running and catching the ball

Adams - Hope his injury isn't serious. He actually showed up today. Great catch and great TD grab on their TD drive before half

Rollins - Really excited about the potential of this young secondary. He played well and  is showing great ability as a tackler. His breakup on the SKins 3rd down prior to halftime was so good. Again, hope his quad injury isn't serious. They need him next week

HHCD - Developing into a stud FS. Was all over the field making plays. Another key piece in this young, exciting secondary going forward

GB outscored Washington 35-7 after falling behind 11-0. That's pure domination from there on out. I'm just happy they pulled this game out since they certainly had the ability to beat Washington, who wasn't that great IMO. Arizona is a different beast though, and I won't pretend like I expect GB to beat them. I'm just happy they are still playing. Anything from here on out is gravy IMO. A loss to Arizona is certainly understandable, that's a really good football team.

You are a dumbass

Playoff road wins are always tough (unless you're playing Brian Hoyer.....) so I don't care how bad Washington is or how Cousins has NEVER beaten a team with a winning record (true...look it up), this is a big win.  Rough, Rough season looks a little better when you get a playoff win.  This is only game I've enjoyed game since the Vikings game back in November 22nd.

Everything after the 1st quarter was a positive for me, with the difference makers being:

-Rodgers: finally looked right for the first time in months.  I think he finally started trusting his OL, which leads me to......

-Tretter: Hell yeah!!!  Finally, next man up worked on the OL!!  Outside of that safety, he played well against a Redskins pass rush that has been pretty good all year.

-DB's: The youngsters are really coming into their own.  Haha never gave up, forced Jackson out of bounds and saved 4 points.  Rollins is looking very very good and when he went out, Gunter had a HUGE pass break up and Randall should have had a pick.

-Pass rush: They had consistent pressure on Cousins but more importantly, they got real pressure when it mattered: 3rd down.  Perry was especially impressive.

And really only one negative (outside of the first quarter)........what in the world is Capers doing letting the Redskins drive 80 yards in less than a minute when we were up 17 with 5 minutes left??  I know, game was probably out of reach but it's infuriating to watch.  It's not even a "prevent defense', it's some hybrid where you give up big plays AND let them get out of bounds.  Once Washington got to the goal line, they went back to normal defense and were awesome again.   But come on Capers!  Defensive schemes like this are how you blow a lead against Seattle in the NFCC.  Really wish MM would call him off when he goes "Capers' Prevent" on us......

Thought the biggest sequence of this game was MM calling TOs right before the half then Washington stopped the clock with an incomplete pass. Packers got the ball back around the 40 and went 60 yards to go up 17-11 before the half.

That was old foot on neck stuff.
