I think she's only referring to Brady trying to call a TO on the play after their last TO.  It was either a hand gesture for someone to adjust their read or he was trying to distract the D before the snap.

Ah, no the clock was at 00 when dimple boy threw the TD.  THE CLOCK WAS AT 00 when he threw the TD.  and on the 2pt conversion AGAIN THE CLOCK WAS AT 00. The refs ONLY called the time penalty on the two pt conversion, when in actuality it was also out on the TD.  I HAVE ON MY DVR COPY OF THE GAME.

The clock at :00 practically speaking is not a penalty. The problem is the 2 pt conversation the clock was at 1 second after :00 which is a penalty. Something about the refs motion after the clock hits :00.

No, actually the clock on the damn TD was ALSO at 00.  They should have not been given the TD.  And again……JMHO.  I did just watch the end of the game again, and the clock was at 00 prior to dimple boy throwing the TD.   🀬 🀬 🀬

Pluses

Doubs, ST’, Defense, Ford, o’Donell, Bakh getting snaps, getting a win against one of the best defenses in the NFL, certainly better than what we’ll face the rest of the regular season.  This, without all our horses on offense.  Three of our next games at home against weak AFC opponents.

Negs

If Amari is just going to fair catch every time, he needs to be replaced the next game.  Refs, but hell, that’s not going to change.

Tonight I’m a Broncos fan

Amari returned one that got called back because of a bogus penalty, on Ford. Hard to take off running, when defenders are in your face.

Especially when they’re 15 yards away.  I understand what you’re saying saying, but he’s so inconsistent and timid with his decision whether to run or fair catch, or let the ball go.  There were a few kicks tonight when he had plenty of space.

Positives:  The CB Nixon looks like a pleasant surprise as a reserve DB.

Negatives:  Offense in the 2nd half.

I was quite pissed at our #12 for taking that sack on the Pack’s final possession to attempt to ice the game.  You absolutely have to get the ball out of your hands to Doubs who was open in the middle of the field.  He may not have gotten the first down, but I think they would have been in FG range.

For today, he Rodgers got away with it but that kind of terrible mistake cannot happen as the games get bigger later in the year.  You gotta get that ball out, even if it bounces short, an incompletion is way better than hanging on too long and taking a sack.  Inexcusable.

+ Defense was fantastic

+Bak and Jenkins together again

+Doubs with a breakout performance

+1st half offense

+Nixon

- Second half offense. We  scored 3 points in the second half against the bears and none today. This trend has to change. Need better second half adjustments

-Injuries- hopefully Jaire and Myers are ok

- We won't be playing many teams missing their top 3 receivers

- The run game wasn't working today- our interior OL struggled. Granted TB has an excellent defense

Aaron running the play clock down to the last second for no good reason.

Why is that an issue. If the offense was looking disorganized and there were multiple delay penalties you would have a point. Rodgers spoke on this a while back and apparently there is a method to his madness. But as long as there are no issues then what is the problem other than us getting anxious watching it.

First half offense ... until the fumble.

Defense almost the entire game.

Doubs, Cobb, Rasul, O'Donnell, Campbell.

Beating Tampa Bay. Beating Tampa Bay.

- - -

Tampa Bay's D knowing it can control the Packer O.

The fact that Tampa Bay is operating under the assumption it will be getting back Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Julio Jones and whomever else Brady asks for/demands, while the Pack's calvary consists of Justin Watson and maybe just maybe Sammy Watkins.

I know some at x4 love using nicknames but why do you call Christian Watson "Justin"?

Nixon

Doubs

ST (Amari still needs to work on when to fair catch).

First half offense.

Great play by Campbell and Savage also had excellent coverage on the play. Doubt it would have been completed regardless.

Defense. Forced fumble by Walker was huge at that point in the game.

-

Second half offense was bad (lots of credit to a very good Buc defense)

Defense went a bit soft on the final drive. Prevent almost prevented them from winning.

In a position to ice it with a FG and the sack by AR was inexcusable.

Daktari looked pretty good in his return, and based on 'body language' (no limping, etc.) is no worse for wear. Coaches were smert to rotate Yosh, IMO.
NBC yapping head said neither player was likely happy with that, but I think that's more of an attempt to create a controversy where none exists.
When the offense is 'on', they are quite good.
Lizard is a stud. Strong as an ox for his size, and was knocking asses on the ground all day.
Who is #18, and what has he done with Cobb?

Defense held the Bucs to 34 yards rushing!
Campbell had a game!
Ditto for Kenny Clark.
Nixon plays defense much better than advertised.

STs had good coverage and protection, and O'Donnell was lights out!

Offense stagnating 'til they stunk in the 2nd half.
Jones' fumble.
Our guys not having their heads on a swivel near the sidelines and getting their clocks cleaned.
I hate to pick on Amari, but he's NOT an NFL player. He's a remarkable athlete, but dumber than a box of rocks. To the point it keeps him from developing as a WR (what he was likely drafted for), and he can't master the basics of kick/punt returns. He's basically Corrdarelle Patterson without return skills.

Yeah, I know how fans that bitch about refereeing are perceived, but when it's as bizarre as it was today, I'm giving the NFLFU a big .

Gary's neck is going to be sore from having Walton's arm around it. It looked like he was getting put in a chokehold as a pass defense technique. If they had called it at least once every 3 times it happened, the Bucs would've had a penalty on every drive.
A Pop Warner referee could see the running into the kicker wasn't. And when/where it happened aggravated a poor ruling.
I'm having trouble recalling them this early in the morning, but I seem to remember a couple of other phantom calls (one against Lizard?).

It was just a poorly officiated game by that crew, and there's no other way to spin it.

Offense reminded me of when we played at TB in 2020 .... as soon as Bowles went man coverage we stunk.

We've seen this before, back in 2012 when defenses realized they could disrupt that great receiving crew by getting physical with them at the line and playing man.  Only remainder from back then is AR but it's interesting that it's resurfacing.  Davante was a big part of remedying man D because he could get off the line vs almost anyone.  Lazard was the only one capable yesterday of fighting through contact but his burst is limited.  Watson has shown really good early signs of being able to beat man but he's unavailable.

+even though the O kept putting the onus back on the D, they held TB/TB to 12pts and didn't break in the end

+after being one of the worst tackling teams in the league through two weeks, the D finally showed up and were sure and physical with their hits.  Quay already starting to make splash plays.

+the secondary not falling apart after 23 went down.  could Nixon be another Rasul that just needed the right opportunity?

-even with two pro-bowlers back on the OL it had great difficulty finding anywhere to run after TB made adjustments.  69 and 73 may still be knocking rust off but MLF's offense needs to find success in the running game with more consistency.  if TB's D makes that impossible then he needs to figure out another way to find success because they have so far been his kryptonite in GB.

-AR turtling up toward the end of the game.  this seems to be a trend in high pressure moments.  he's always been risk-averse but that philosophy in those situations hasn't been productive the last several years.  i don't know if he's simply being conservative knowing the D is playing well or if he's just not seeing open guys the way he used to.
