Posies

GB WINS against a great Defense and dirty player.

Cobb and Nelson hang on to the passes from AR in the pocket.

Aaron guts it out!

Punt return for a touchdown.

Our Defense played very good.

Negies

Suh

Our WR's looked like they were held but only called once.

Another blocked FG

Lost onside punt.

Aaron hurt. I fear it may linger.

Unsure

Jones penalty seemed chickenpoop to me. I cut him slack on that one. Bad call by Zebras

Kinda reminded me of a WWE match

Initially I thought the Jones call was incidental but it was just F'in stupid.  It was a dumb slap that was totally preventable.  Man I hope he is done like dinner with this team.

Draft ILB and QB for development.

By the by, one of the things AR's calf injury did IMO is force MM to really stay with the run. He was forced to attack Detoilets best asset and he shoved that schit right down their throat.

Maybe that'll get MM thinking even with a rested up AR, RTFB!! isn't a bad idea.

Took a lot of time off the clock and wore down that "vaunted" DL.

The facemask on Levy was ticky-tack as well. The calls evened themselves out.

+

Champs again.  2 weeks for Arod to heal up.

Arod is a beast

Offensive line was incredible

Eddie

Clay

Hyde

-

MM's play calling at the goal line.  Run #27 three times.

Turnovers

Another blocked kick... wtf?

Suh is a dirty, dirty bitch

Roughing the passer call after a love tap to the head.  BS

National TV announcers crowing for everybody but Arod for the MVP

Difference with Levy is he pulled enough to twist the head, easy call.  Jones, stupid slap, easy call.

McCarthy calls Suh step on Rodgers “ridiculous”

As Peter King of TheMMQB.com said on Football Night in America, the league will review on Monday the leg-step committed by Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh against Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Packers coach Mike McCarthy needs no time for contemplation or deliberation.

During his post-game press conference, McCarthy called the maneuver “ridiculous.”  McCarthy also said “there’s no place for that.”

Rodgers predicted that Suh will call it an accident.

Yes, the brand name really does translate to "Russian Vodka", as opposed to Stoli or the other brands.  Ah, the joys of studying in St. Petersburg just after the end of the Soviet Union.

Technically, then, it's not a single malt, is it?

(My hard alcohol was generally limited to vodka, what with my having started on hard alcohol in Russia.  If it weren't for the fact you'll all make merciless fun of me, I'd tell the story of my first hangover. )

SPEAAAAAAKKKK SPEEEAAAAAKKKKK!!!

Zero negatives

Time for my 2014 NFC North clinching single malt scotch.

Honestly how do you figure? Aaron only missed one series

Stated his calf strain is in a different spot then last week.

Rodgers reads x4?!?

My guess is that  his nom de pleur is Blair Kiel.

Huh.  Go ****ing figure.   Wyle E. and his anvil said differently.  The calf injury sucks but you can work with it.  He's still going to be sore in a couple of weeks but he'll play and he will have no problem planting.

Not how I saw it. Appeared to only make contact with it to me.

Fingers in the mask, incidental, still a penalty.

Biggest plus for me is the Offense finally having production against the BUF/DET/SEA style defense.  SEA is a step above but they really needed to get rolling today and they did enough to find some answers.

I would also add did we notice the lack of pitches in the run game and the straight north/south approach for both Eddie and James for the most part?  That was huge.

Oline absolutely road graded against the best run defense in the league.  Yeah, they can beat Seattle.

A good point was made on the post game radio show by Tausch...

You can feel what you are stepping on, then make sure you don't again.  Suh clearly knew what he was stepping on and then emphasized a push down.

Think about it, any of us have been in a situation where you knew what you might be stepping on... be it a kid's leg, your dog's, a tack, a bottle, you NAME it!!

You sense it, you STOP.

**** that ****ing ****. **** his LOSER ASS and **** HIM!!!

Any contact whatsoever can be called. I just said it was a ticky-tack call. They're going to make that call on Jones every time. Any contact with the head of the QB is a no-no and he needs to be smarter than that.

The offensive line played their asses off.  They have proven to be a strength on the team.
Didn't Bakhtiari kill the drive that ended with the blocked FG with a holding penalty?

Gotta love Linsley's imitating the snap too.

Seattle's better at QB, but I agree, they're certainly not ininvincible at home. Still hoping someone else does that dirty work for us, however.

But they are limited for receivers.  Point being if the Packers are physical enough to help manage the clock and extend drives against the Seattle D it will balance the game significantly.  The Seattle offense isn't in the same league as the Packers just like the Packers D isn't in Seattle's league.  It's balance/counter balance.

Positive

O line play has been out of this world--today was proof we may be the best in the NFL

Rodgers proved his toughness and leadership and is clearly the league MVP

Finished the season +15 in turnover ratio--best in the NFL

GB is SO much classier and better than Detroit

Lacy is one tough SOB

McCarthy is a great coach

Cobb & Nelson are both beasts

Negative

3rd and short still scares the bejesus out of me

Another blocked FG, albeit a long one again

I swear I heard Aikman say AR was the MVP when asked by Buck near the end of the game, no?

Sure there's some love for Arod, but I heard a lot today about Watt and even Romo.

I thought you meant the National Announcers from the Packers game today.

CAPackFan95,

I've had McCarthy's.....outstanding scotch! Thank you for recommending sir. Better than the Directors Edition but nothing wrong with the scotch I'm having tonight.

Aikman did say he would vote for Rodgers MVP.

Team watched AR get carted to locker room during final Lion drive of 1st half that ended in TD. (Thanks Brad). After a lightning fast 3 and out including a sack GB handed the ball back to Detroit at the 50 while AR was still standing in the tunnel. Quick score by Detroit. Tie game. Lambeau was dead silent. No idea how things would have played out but AR returning and putting 7 on the board was special.

Positives:

•  Matt Flynn kept it close until AR returned

•  AR's return

•  Punt return for a TD

•  Bye week so AR can heal rather than playing next week

Negatives:

•  Baaaaaaaaad Jones

•  ST's outside the punt return

Questionable:

•  52 yard FG attempt

•  AR with a bad leg and a QB sneak

Ridiculous:

•  Suh
