This team needs a change.  I really hope that MM calls out AR.  McGinn's article was spot on.  AR is not that good right now.  As is, the Packers will win probably end up over .500 and likely miss the playoffs.  It will be MM's last season if he can't get AR to play better.  If he does, he saves his job, if not, he's gone.  Either one is fine by me.

+Monty, Lacy gutting it out (no pun intended), Crosby's accuracy.

-Everything else

Negatives

PackerBoi is correct. If the 2014 version of Aaron Rodgers plays in this game, it's probably a Packer victory. He had two turnovers that might have cost 10 points, missed a throw to Cobb that cost them 4 points, and was basically terrible overall. He's not even a top 10 QB in the NFL right now (Brady, Brees, Prescott, Roethlisberger, Bradford, Ryan, Wilson, Palmer, Luck, Newton are all playing better right now).

The defense had some gaffes, but mostly because they ran out of CBs. When you are playing UDFAs with very little experience, you are going to have problems. Gunther should literally be cut tomorrow. He made mental errors, physical errors, technique errors.

Positives

Mason Crosby was solid, Schrum looked good in his one punt. The special teams was pretty decent overall. The OL played really well. Lacy ran tough for playing hurt.

They are still above .500 at 3-2 and should beat the Bears on Thursday and be 4-2 with a mini-bye after that.

Positives: The game ended. The DT's are more than solid. Crosby is as good as any PK in the NFL.

Negatives: We aren't that good. We don't have the head and shoulders best QB anymore. We don't have best talent at any position except PK. Finley and Jennings were right about more than we wanted to admit. They were also more important than what we wanted to admit.

The Claymaker's drop-off has been as obvious as AR's.

And it was the Cowboys at home.

I'd feel a lot better moving on from a shi*t ass performance by this team if this was a blip on the radar on an otherwise lousy but rare outing by the offense. But this has been going on well over a year now. 12's not right. And I don't see an obvious or upcoming fix anytime soon to get him back to where he was.

Ahhhhhhh, start someone else???  Oh that's right we got rid of A-12's, mini me, Joe Callahan.  Today's game was a "come together" of what's wrong.  Boring offense,  boring defense, and a coach that has been in the league to long.   Have got to find out what is wrong with A-12.   The packers have already given up the NFC division.   Wild Card???  Ahhhhh nope not this year. And what's funny??  We thought oh well, when we get Jordy back...........

Hmmm....gotta think...Lacy ran well a few times.

Minus

McCarthy needs to move on.  His grip on this team is worn and slipping.  Same old rhetoric.

The onside kick call was a complete joke

The 3rd and 1 run call in the first quarter was a mess

Horrible play selection...again

Dropped passes and fumbles

Rodgers needs to appreciate his future on the green turf of Lambeau and not the red carpets of Hollywood.  Stop shaking his head and start nodding his head would be a start:  Missed Cobb on 4th down and 5; but Cobb was likely his last safety valve.  Why wasn't a WR able to get open 6 yards for a first down?

Again...WRs unable to get open.  As evidenced by some of the video replays we saw.

Aberderris's sleeve tattoo.  C'mon Jared.

Fumbles:  Nelson's head is not in the game, again.   That's coaching

Defense

How many kick-offs did we see that were not returned?   Even though they were fielded within 1-2 yards from the goal-line?   3

This team lacks confidence on both sides of the ball.   It started last season and looks like it will be continuing until something changes...

+ I may take flak for this but the defense created a couple of turnovers against a team that's been devoid of them.  They had a down game in many ways, but I still think they played well enough to keep it close if the offense isn't crapping the bed.

+ The offensive line played well overall. On Rip's 3rd & 1 early, they had everyone pulled in and if rip cuts slightly wider, he has the first down. - Rodgers had tons of time on a number of plays and didn't get it done.

THAT'S coaching right???  They stink....have lost this team.  They all stink.  JMHO.

The defense was garbage today too.  Dallas had 200 yards rushing against the "vaunted" (translation overrated) Packers run D and there was zero pass rush.  Sure, the pass D was abysmal but what could we really expect with all backups playing corner.

I can't believe I am agreeing with Tony Dungy but he's right today- bad loss by GB at home and this will come back to haunt them.
