Andrew Quarless with a good game. Nice to see a TE again.

Starks needs to get more involved.

Defense. This game was not on them.

Rodgers. Favre syndrome setting in? I saw no sense of urgency from him. The TD pass attempt to Jordy entirely on AR. He needed to make that pass

WR's. Boykin with more drops. What is Cobb doing? He's looking more and more like just a guy.

MM. A lot of stupid face today. Incredibly vanilla scheme he called. This loss is on him and AR.

Life in the defense.  Detroit made better adjustments in the second half on offense and started to click a little more.  I didn't think there were many defenses that could dictate what GB does on offense, I really didn't think Detroit was one of those defenses.

Lacy can't stop moving forward.  I like that he is a little shift as much as the next person, but the guy has to be going downhill.  Liked what I saw out of Starks until he stopped playing (zero carries in the second half).   AR needs to be better.  That probably is it's own topic.

AJ Hawk made two meaningful plays.  Still, those guys who make gif's out of plays, I'd like to see the shot of Hawk on Detroit's last first down.  Words can't explain how not a football play that was.

Forgot to mention this one.  Other than one drop, might be his best game as a Packer.  Q has not show that he can make catches like his TD catch before.  Nice work by him.

Positives

-Defense for the most part. Can't fault them for tiring out at the end

-Peppers

-House

-Starks

-Jordy

Negatives

-Rodgers. Eitehr tuck it and run or roll out dude. Quit sitting around back there to take god awful sacks

-Lacy. Where did his physical style go? Dude tryin to be like McCoy out there shifting and juking guys and tryin to hit the edge...get upfield man and carry the pile with you

-MM. Getting reaaaal worried with him. He looks to be regressing as a coach. Terrible timeout at the end of the half nearly gifted Detroit a FG after they were content to go into the half as is, and this playcalling has been ass. He just isn't utilizing the weapons to the best of their ability, nor really doing anything different. I don't get what the hell is going on, but with the playmakers they have at WR and with Rodgers at QB, you should be able to find ways to free guys up for things. You have a player in Randall Cobb FFS and they aren't even doing anything creative with him. Detroit bringing pressure constantly....we don't see a single screen to burn it. Why aren't tehy using their damn TE's? Why aren't they using the middle of the field MORE?

I am really encouraged by what the defense did. They seem to be coming together.

Rodgers looked bad today. He missed a few too many passes.  He Threw behind Nelson in the end zone.

Boykins has too many drops.

MM is a terrible game time coach. His play calling is too predictable. The Packers come out flat once again.

Offense line didn't do their job today.

At first glance, I just assumed Jordy made that catch. I was very surprised that it was actually Quarless.

Does not matter that you could or could not predict it...Detroit could and stopped it.

Agree. Holding that offense to 10 points and their place is damn impressive. Mike Neal and Peppers both with very good games.

This loss lays completely at the feet of the offense.

My Lord...they were down to basically playing me in the secondary. That MM and AR couldn't take advantage of that is beyond ridiculous

Pos

secondary, peppers, Neal, Daniels a little

neg

play calling

running game (see pt 1)

wr,s dropping balls

hawk

rodgers and mm

Nowhere near a top caliber team

snatched defeat from the jaws of victory today

2 out of 3 weeks of sh*tty play calling.  MM needs to start answering some questions.

I respect your opinion and wish to know what he should have called? I thought whatever was called did not work on the offense. I blame the execution.

Anything besides that damn pitch play.  The run call in the endzone.  Rodgers could have QB sneaked for a few years to get a little bit of breathing room.  Not having Starks get any carries in the second half.  The stupid time out before the end of the half that could have resulted in a FQ.  Detroit playing with DB's that were basically picked up off the street and not taking advantage.  Enough said.

Motion Cobb in 4 WR set and screen to him, bubble to Cobb, screen to Harris, 2 TE set with Kuhn and Lacey and Bludgeon them, Jet sweep to Cobb ... when MLB goes out - Underneath crossing to Cobb.

Need I go on?

BTW, MM's lack of motion with his WR's wants me to kick him in the nads with a steel-toe boot.

I think everyone thought it would be a close one.  The safety was the difference.  Everything about that play was a huge negative.

defense as a whole 10 points allowed, 3 TO's should win you a lot of games normally(individuals cough cough Hawk still very much a negative and barrington got ran over a lot oh and Matthews is hurt again)

-'s

offense was simply terrible, stretch running plays that go nowhere, Starks/Cobb MIA

M3 see above, look at Iggles and Seachickens designing plays to get the hands in the playmakers hands quickly.  Not routes that need 5-8 seconds to develop

AR12, WTH dude you are better than this...2 stinkers out of 3 games that's unheard of.

Agree with some of that but even their backups DBs played well as was pointed out on some of the replays I saw. The timeout made sense at the time but Clay was out and our D could not stop them at that point.
