Captured by Ballast Point Brewing for their Swingin Friar beer.
ESPN gives the Brewers a 60.1% chance of winning. Let's keep this rolling.
Apparently the Frelick injury is worse than originally stated. He hasn't been in the lineup since Saturday.
Pitchers duel as expected.
Sure would be nice if Woody would get some run support
Someone in the dugout heard me
Well he just got it!!! 3 run Rowdy Bomb after a couple of singles drive in runs. Now 5-0 Brewers still batting in the 3rd.
Feelinβ Rowdy!
Woody with 107 pitches thru 6 innings. 11K and 3 BB. 1 home run by Machado.
Wow, Hill is pitching relief now?
That Uribe has been real good
That works
Man.
Its so nice to see these highly paid teams like the Padres and Mets mail it in for a paycheck.
Uribe and McGill setting up Chafin to close out the 9th.
Monosterio has really been scuffling, his average has dropped 35 points in the last 2 weeks. He needs to snap out of it because 3B turns into a black hole if he doesn't produce. He's following the path of Owen Miller where he was hot for a couple months but it had an abrupt ending. Anderson looks completely lost at the plate so not much help there.

You can add the Cardinals to that list, they have a huge payroll.
On a side note, I read Ken Griffey Jr is still the highest paid player in CIN. Ouch!
Chafin slams the door!

I think he slammed it into his own hand first.
I think he was one hitter away from getting released. He still might not be out of the woods. In his last 2 appearances he's had a 5 and 6 run lead and Williams had to get up both times, even getting a difficult save the first game.
It looks like Chafin's future role is when games are so far ahead or behind he pitches. If the Crew is down 10 runs in the 8th who cares if Chafin gives up 10 more. It least it will save the rest of the bullpen.

Chafin was actually brought in to be the 2nd LH out of the pen and wouldn't be here if Wilson didn't get hurt. I doubt Ashby pitches this year but Gasser is having a great year in AAA. He should be brought up to get some MLB experience now so he can be counted on down the stretch. Chafin is just taking innings away from a player that could use them to develop.
Our pal Sal back as clean up tonight. With the Padres having a bunch of free swingers Freddie might set a personal best strike out performance.
Was all pumped up to watch the Brewers on the "Free MLB Day". Guess what, the cocksuckers blacked out the game and all games featuring mid west area teams. MLBFU is worse than NFLFU!!!
If the calls on Tatis are any indication this night will feature a very, very expanded strike zone.
Two on, nobody out, top of third, Yelich with a tailor-made double play ball.
He has not been good this month. In July he was helping them win. In August, they are winning in spite of him.
Nice job Andruw

You were saying?
Even better
Clutch hitting for sure. Now it's time to cash in that runner at 3B with one out.
Brewers continue doing what they have been so good at lately, having a big inning. 4 runs in the 5th so far with a runner on 3rd, only 1 out and Santana at bat. Padres changing pitchers.
Santana, nice.
A long one here and we might see Chafin later.
Was hoping for a little more when they had bases loaded, but canβt complain too much about a 5 run inning
Dodged a bullet there.
Padres right back in it. Single and a Soto home run off of Payamps.
5-4 Brewers
Looking like a Williams 9th.
