That other sources had the Vikes at #1, and I always prefer they win the pre-season Lombardi. Their trophy case is full of those trophies.
I don't think we've seen the Packer defense
i would prefer the packers start the rankings at 32...who give a f*&^

The Packer defense could be really good this year. They actually have some NFL caliber depth at DB and could have one of the deepest DL in the league. The key will be if Matthews and Perry hold up. If they can't, their LB play will likely be a fatal flaw.
Health will be the key factor as always. 12 will have the offense humming. I’m excited to see what 12 can do with a big time TE group.
The defense has strong potential that starts up front. The Packer D-Line is as good as it’s been since the mid-90’s. The secondary has quite a bit of talent with Tramon, King, Jackson, Alexander, et al. If CM and NP can stay healthy and guys like Gilbert have actually taken that next step, we could have something here.

Only power ranking that matters usually comes the first Monday in February.
Four the five ahead of them are in the NFC.

I don't know if they'll be the best, but I do know the Pack has the best QB.
I can't imagine, with a healthy Rodgers for all 16, they'd end up worse than 20th.

Exactly. The only power ranking that matter is who wins on the field I for one never pay attention to any power rankings.

Different GM, OC and DC. We have many new players and a QB returning from injury. The NFC looks improved. Nothing was shown in our preseason games. It’s really hard to predict exactly where we are in the “rankings”.

You can thank Bob Kraft for that too. If Billy B had his way, Brady woulda been shipped like Favre was & Jimmy G would be the Pats starting QB.
Tom is great but he's still the 2nd best QB in the NFL.
It may be that Kraft really screwed BB.
