I don't know if anyone has brought this up but the defense has not given up many points in the second half of games. It would be nice if they could put 2 halves together though.

What are you looking at? Right now we are 7th in the league in total defense when last season we were 22nd. Do you think there is any way the last couple of defenses we've had would have held the 49ers scoreless on their last 3 drives?

Just saw a 22 cut of the KK INT. Pettine sending 7 got pressure home and Beathard had to throw off his back foot. Goodwin had outside position and could have accelerated away from KK if that ball is put out in front of him to run under. Either way, the ball came up short because the Q has 2 blitzers in his face quickly.
I'm hoping for more blitz scheming by Pettine as it seems the only way we get pressure. Whitehead and Alexander have gotten through. Brice, not so much, but what else is new.
