Ahmad Thomas signed to Indy PS. Essentially taking the spot Morrison would likely have landed prior to the trade.

Thomas looked like a kid that had some skills and may have developed into some decent ILB depth.

Some more context on Ahmad Thomas' situation. He was in facility to sign to practice squad, but source says they turned him away. Thomas fortunate he was able to latch on with Colts. Highly unusual to be asked to come in on practice-squad Sunday only to be turned away.

So, to be clear, Ahmad Thomas was fully intent on staying with the . It was the team that turned him away, per source, after going through trouble of calling him into their facility. We'll see if that comes back to hurt them. Certainly doesn't help build relationships.

Great analogy.  So appropriate as well.  Why am I not surprised.

They were bad picks.  Or do you live in some alternate reality where those guys panned out?

I was a big TT guy but maybe they waited a couple of years too long to make a move.

If there weren't so many big words this has the makings of a country song.

And the Grammy goes to BK.

The Fackrell and Biegel picks at OLB were awful.   Please don’t let T.J. Watt have a good year.

FWIW. TJ Watt didn’t play a preseason snap and sat on the sideline for a full month in camp trying to recover from a nasty hammy injury. Steelers are a little concerned about his history with injuries.

Vince Biegel was the poster child for being hurt going back to days at UW.  So far the book on Kevin King has been spot on.  Very talented but nagging shoulder issues.   I hope the kid can get over because he’s got top end ability and seems like a good dude.

In the end it may not matter as Josh Jackson and Jaire Alexander have looked pretty good but another decent pass rush guy couldn’t hurt.   Watt showed a lot last year but like King he has to stay on the field.

Player's athleticism dramatically increases throughout his college career & then he develops reoccurring muscle strains  .....sound familiar?
