10-6, including losses against SF, CIN (just a feeling), at MN, at CHI, NYG, ATL. Good enough to win the Central, but not good enough for a bye. Still feel unsettled about the defense. I'm not buying all the Brad Jones love. Still unsure about a defensive leader with Woodson gone. See the defense improving  but not there yet and the O'line still moving around looking for the right combination.

Gotta beat the best to be the best and the Niners were the best the NFC had to offer last year.

agree, what worries me is that in addition to having no gameplan to stop the read option, we got beat in every one-on-one matchup along the front. Going into the game the 49ers OC told Aikman & Buck that he didn't think he would be able to run between the tackles on us, however Raji & Pickett looked like they were on roller skates the entire game. I have confidence that we will be much better prepared this time vs SF, but I just don't know if we can win enough 1 on 1 matchups.

Old bones in the cold....

God I hate that picture. For the entire game Favre couldn't or wouldn't find the open receiver. He had guys running around the field this open the whole game and jept throwing to covered WR.

McCarthy was visibly pissed nearly the entire game. He threw down his clipboard, He bitched and moaned and still his HOF QB wouldn't throw the ball where it needed to go.

GB had that game won easily if the QB played like an NFL QB that game.

This year, 12-4 NFCN champs, 1st seed, SB appearance. Not going to jinx it with any further prognostication.

Dude, too much Old Style plays with your head. I think it's the back up of all that gas that creates pressure in the cerebrum and causes hallucinations but it might just be the Krausening.
