Please grade my projections with one of the following options:

1. Royal Wulff will one day be hailed as the modern Nostradamus of football rosters.

2. Royal Wulff’s insight has opened my mind to explore an entirely different way of seeing the nfl.

3. While other “experts” rely on analyzing data and measurables, Wulff seems to rely on pure fantasy and conjecture. What a refreshing way of looking at things!

I remember seeing some talk from anonymous scouts that said Coy Cronk was the steal of UDFA. Haven’t heard anything about him yet, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s a developmental guy they want to stash. Love those B10 linemen!

He should make it on his name alone.  He got "Cronked"

Dillon should have been USED in that Tampa Bay game after Jones went down, especially after he proved himself against Tennessee. Coaching blunder.

He was our third string back in that game.

For bench warmer?? Jones is the starter. Dillon #2 and then.......

I think Kylin Hill will get a little action. Probably about as much as Dillon did last year. Maybe more assuming no injuries or COVID.

They are going to be light at least one roster spot to start the year with Sternberger suspended. Likely will go into the season with Bahk on the PUP unless he's ready to go soon. I think they will be able to overload a position or two if they choose to. If they can contribute somewhere on ST's that will help their chances.

MLF has said he wants to run the ball so much having 4 ball carriers would be ideal.

After Hill, you've got Patrick Taylor on PS, plus Deguara can tote the rock and so can Amari Rodgers and his understudy, Cobb. They might keep Taylor on 53 till Sternberger comes back from suspension, but Hill looks like  he has RB3 locked up

Yep, and 2 weeks of an NFL schedule has this funny way of making tough roster decisions for you. Who will be this years Deguara?

Very interesting article.

I agree with him on a few things.

I think Malik Taylor is now a lock for WR#6.

I think Sternberger is now very much on the bubble.

I think Lucas Patrick is also on the bubble.

I agree that Heflin has show something and may make the squad.

I was shocked (SHOCKED, I TELL YOU!) that Winslow was cut. And I just hope that the FO is looking for an upgrade from Opie.

I don’t see Begelton making this team, but it was nice seeing a decent kick return by him. Special teams is a mess. Nice tackle by Uphoff though.

Here is my shitty take….

Funchess is more of a #3 than a 6 or 7. Cobb and Lazard fill that role in GB.

The problem is your lower tiered wrs have to play STs, Funchess doesn’t do that. While I think he is probably better than a guy like Taylor, he’s likely going to be the odd man out because he won’t be able to contribute from the bench.

Funchess and Patrick might be trade material.

The problem is when your ST are so beyond shitty, cutting a superior talent at a skill position is a self defeating IMO.

You could put a 55 gallon drum of lard on ST and get the same results.

Keep the best receivers for their receiver skills. You know, their job.

Find someone to play Special Teams.  Seriously it’s running and tackling.

Unless, there’s no way you’re talking about Taylor as a returner, are you?  And who said Funchess can’t play ST’s?

I guess I agree it’s a shitty take.

Malik Taylor is a bottom of the roster scrub.   The only way he should make the roster is if you are able to trade one of your other WR's for DL help.   The  only candidate there is Funches.

I see five locks at WR and the question is if they keep six or possibly seven.

Heflin has had a nice camp and it wouldn't surprise me to see him make the cut over Lancaster.  Similar players but one is younger and cheaper.
