Has anyone else noticed that we are still using the same formations since we started 6-0?

I certainly have. I have a strange feeling that MM knew that they would still win enough to make the playoffs using that tired scheme that was being relatively easily defended.

I also think that the Packers have been practicing more exotic formations and plays for much of this season, while still doing reps on what we have been seeing week in and week out.

My gut says that they are going to try to unleash a little bit of he!! on the Redskins this weekend. My gut says we beat them by 7 to 13 points. while still not showing everything that is new.

Then we go to Carolina and show the rest of what has been being practiced. Unleash some more he!! on them and win easily by double digits. maybe even an old fashioned a** kicking rout. Meanwhile emptying the new offensive scheme.

Since I am pretty sure that we will Seattle in the NFCC, it will be a matter of Seattle trying to stop something they have only 2 games of game tape on.

Pick your poison, but, score a lot of points because we are going to do just that.

Yes, I see the Packers in the Superb Owl. And it will not matter who they play, they will win.

it is the only explanation I can come up with for constantly showing basically the same formation and scheme week in and week out.

MM 'knew' they would be in the playoffs. I am happy it did not backfire on him.

Hence, the constant commentary about "we are just fine and we are exactly where we want to be offensively".

The have been practicing one O scheme during the week, but playing the same old vanilla in every game since the bye...

I think that a giant can of whoopas** is about to be opened up, starting tomorrow.

Like I said, this is the only explanation I can see and understand. why? because there is no way that this offense is as bad as they have been 'showing' all season.

"It is a trap!!!" .

A SB win by double digits in our future? I hope so!

But, then again, I am an eternal optimist...

And, I am planning on keeping myself on a steady hum until the end of the game tomorrow night/ morning for me...... depending on the end result, maybe much more Blue Label, or, much more Blue Label....

It really does not matter as it is only entertainment.... A GAME...

it doesn not predicate which direction my life will follow..

And this, folks, this is what makes me happy. I am a diehard fan for over 40 years, but a football game my life does not make...

Enjoy it for what it is, not what you want or believe it to be.

IT. IS. A. GAME. enjoy it, it is entertainment.

GPG, kick some fake N.A. a**!!

It is a combination of issues. Yes, losing Nelson had a big impact. He was the one WR on the Packers who could take the top off a defense. He demanded the safety help that Cobb now sees.

Cobb get's doubled almost every play. So the Qb looks elsewhere most of the time. That means to Davante Adams, who blew his ankle which made him even slower than he already was, or to James Jones who was not fast when he was younger and is now in his 30s and slow.

The Packers lost for most of the season the TE who had moderate speed in Quarless ad the other guy, Richard Rodgers is SLOW, a terrible blocker and plays as soft as a marshmallow.

The OL has been a MASH unit.

And the starting RB, whose knock coming out of college was that he wasn't really motivated, is fat, slow, and doesn't really seem to enjoy football too much. Plus he has been banged up and has an ankle making his slow twirls even slower. His backup keeps fumbling but at least shows some quickness through a hole and can make yards that the starter can't.

Worth re-reviewing. Last season. With Jordy. This was when the O was humming. A reminder that under MM, defenses like this and Seattle don't bode well.

Nelson had 55 yards in this game and a brutal drop at the 2min mark that may have turned the game around:

Late reply to this....but in it just came to me, that the Buffalo game kind of proves my initial hypothesis.  In that game, Nelson, really did not make a play.  The Packers lose.  If Nelson makes the play, maybe they win.  Well, Nelson has been unable to make any plays this season, in any games.
