Most likely "Covid toe" is caused by diabetes that is prevalent in the more severely affected Covid victims who tend to be obese (#2 co-morbidity after age). I truly hope to see the Fed gov't, CDC, and big pharma launch a "war on obesity" which is clearly the #1 public health issue facing the US in terms of deaths, illnesses, and economic impact. Stay healthy everyone and have a great Thanksgiving!

I lost about 135 pounds in 9 months and cannot begin to tell people how much better I feel.

They should, but part of the reason they won't is Presidential election politics. How much high-fructose corn syrup comes from Iowa? It's the same reason we subsidize the use of ethanol in gasoline.

It's not like the CDC doesn't emphasize this.

My son is rail thin.

135 pounds wow that’s awesome

Meanwhile, the majority of the population will be pounding 12,000 calories today and sit on their asses and wonder why they can’t lose weight?

My metabolism slowed way down when I hit 40 so running helps offset some of the calorie intake because it can be tough to eat healthy all the time.

Sweets and sugar in particular can be tricky.  I really try to avoid the processed shit but at this time of the year it’s cookies and pies and candy galore.

I intend to eat an entire Costco apple pie myself over the next 2 days.

I don’t normally eat much sugar, but those pies will change your life.

What if any are the Ram's weak spots on defense that we can exploit?

I think with any really good and aggressive defenses you run slant plays, quick passes, and screens.  You cannot allow them to get pin their ears back and rush the QB.  The biggest worry for me is who is going to block Donald? and on defense who is going to cover Cooper Kupp?

But if you look at the Rams schedule they have beaten 5 crappy teams (Chi, Det, Hou, NYG, Sea) and got spanked back to back by TN and SF.

To me it all comes down to how well MLF has them prepared and if they can play though all of the injuries.

Good information thank you

Stay AWAY from high fructose corn syrup

Pretty much any calorie dense foods (like HFCS) should be avoided except on occasion. Processed foods (especially food at restaurants) are chemically engineered to be highly palatable and are loaded with sugar, fat and salt. The more you eat, the more you want. It's designed that way.

The best "diet" is the one you'll stick to...because at the end of the day, it's all calories in vs calories out. Low fat, Mediterranean, ketogenic, vegan, paleo, carnivore...it just doesn't matter what you do as long as you can consume the minimal amount of calories to keep you functioning.

Hats off to you, that is a monumental accomplishment.
