Some obviously great artists still not in, but I got to say Styx belongs in the HOF.
Tommy Shaw might belong just for Girls with Guns

In all seriousness, I think Emimen is a obvious one.
How can Boston, Townshend, and Ozzy not be in? Those are LeRoy Butler level snubs.
Foreigner and REO belong in the hall of very good?
Sonic Youth not even being nominated once is a goddamned farce. If I gave a shit about that Rock and Roll HOF, I'd be as angry about them not being in as I continue to be about Billy Wagner not being in the MLB Hall of Fame.

I was /am a huge metal head and it baffles me that Judas Priest and Iron Maiden are not in there.

Agree on Sonic Youth--they took avante garde in rock to another level.
Nirvana is in (and I love Nirvana), but without Pixies there isn't the popular Nirvana.
Nine Inch Nails is in (and I love Nine Inch Nails), but Reznor doesn't get to where he is without the influence of Joy Division/New Order.
