Can he fix Mark Davis' hair?
Reggie has done a really nice job in Oakland. Good for him getting a 4 year extension.
Nice thread dig and info, Mi'Joe!
I agree with you and Boris; he's been mostly steady-as-she-goes at the helm, doing what he needed to do to get the cap cleaned up, then start building some depth.
The Raiders aren't so good yet, but they are young and dynamic. I'd like to see 'em challenge Denver for that division sooner rather than later.
As an aside, newer GMs in general have been blessed with generous cap ceilings that have been steadily increasing the last few years. The better ones have put that to good use.
Raiders LBs in 2016 would have been Kalil Mack, Bruce Irvin, Shilique Calhoun, and Aldon Smith. That's a really good collection of LBs. unfortunately Aldon is still stupid. He checked himself into rehab this past week.
Reggie is putting together a nice defense though.
I am waiting for the first "they sign FAs that TT doesn't" post. In the group of Packer fans I associate with, every team does it better than TT - especially NE. Honestly, it gets a little tiring.
^^ That mindthink has been making JsOnline and ACME Packing Company a chore to read over the past year or so.
Young Wolf in Vegas?
Didn't see that coming. Do you think Wolf would be willing to be a stooge?

Yeah, that was a little too perfect.
Tie my career to Gruden? No thanks.
Raiders will conduct a GM search as well as a front-office overhaul this offseason
Not a surprise that Reggie McKenzie won't return.
If I were Reggie I wouldnโt want to return to that clown show
Good luck finding a "GM" in title only. Yeah I'm sure people will be jumping to take the "job"
Poor Reggie. That Roster was not "talent deficient". It is now, but it wasn't when Reggie was calling the shots.
I can't wait to watch Gruden fail & that $2.2 Billion (with a B) stadium is half empty.
Come home Reggie. The Pack could use your input at draft time.
Seems like a good gig for someone that wants to earn some extra money before they retire. MM?

I'd do it for a few million.

That stadium will not be half full, it will be full and 4/5 will be fans from the visiting team. Financially, the move to Las Vegas is brilliant that will more than make up for the stupid contract he gave Gruden.
And yet somehow, they beat Pittsburgh today.
I would do it - for 10 mill a year. I have my price. And who cares how many seats are full anyway - as long as my pockets are full.
And I would need at least 2 or 3 years guaranteed.
Bring him back. Gutenheimer needs veteran front office staff around him. He'd make a hell of a "consultant" or whatever other BS title you want to give him.
Agree. If he can work with Gutenclog, bring him back. Reggie had things on the right track until Gruden rode into town.
Experience in FO is a must have. Like the young guys but the whole FO has been turned upside down. Wouldn't mind seeing a Wolf vet in there.
Somebody posted recently about the losses of Schneider, Dorsey and McKenzie. I'm guessing TT's draft record started descending at the same time.
Come home Reggie.....come home
It's not your fault, Reggie.
It's not your fault.

It's not your fault.
Sad thing is that he turned down a chance to interview for the GM position last winter. On one hand I would say "Fortune is Fickle", but I just can't believe he was so naive to believe things would work out with Gruden. Definitely should be a place for him in GB if he wants one. But I would make sure he reports to Murphy also
The Raiders continue to erase all ties to Reggie McKenzie, today firing his top assistant, Joey Clinkscales.

Interested to see where Herock ends up.

WTH, give him Murphy's job!
