Knile Davis running back
Replies sorted oldest to newest
Knile Davis? Umm, okay. He's kind of pedestrian, but he's probably #225 so he fits the mold even though he's not that tall. He's #4 on the Chiefs depth chart behind Charles, Ware and West.
thanks Roldie
Davis. My bad.

Plus he has an inability to stay healthy from what I'm hearing...so you're definitely correct about fitting right in
I view Davis as a 3rd down type back. He can be a good receiver out of the backfield but his best skill is probably as a return guy.
Not sure what other options were out there at the RB position but it's a move that had to be done.
I agree they needed to make a move, and Davis was likely the best of the dirt cheap options available at a position known for grinding players up.
Still, doesn't catch well, doesn't block worth a damn and fumbles a lot. Also has a YPC lower than Logan Mankins.
Davis is as good as they were going to get at this point in the season. He may even be better than Starks. Nice trade by TT.
Tightwad ted didn't use his trade chips to get Henry from the Titans. He's barely used over there
You probably think Montee Ball and Ron Dayne were misused, too.
Rumor is Rodgers to the Jets for 1st and 2nd and 4th in 2017 and 1st and 2nd in 2018, plus David Harrison

Price for Packers to acquire Knile Davis reportedly a conditional late-round draft pick. Translation: ham sandwich.

I traded for a running back mid season? I must be in the concussion protocol.

Reports also that Don Jackson will be activated from the practice squad. Means two cuts have to be made: likely Kyle Murphy is one. Although we have a lot of CB's, with three out we can't cut any of them right now, so it will be interesting to see who the other cut is. Would not be surprised to see James Starks placed on IR.
The Davis trade likely means Jackson is staying on the PS. Also, strong possibility that Starks is back for the ATL game.
Pack of scrubs. Get 35 Gado's and use them like kleenex.
Great, now I'm thinking about how Hank uses kleenex
So if Knile Davis ends being good enough to make the Packers Hall of Fame, instead of naming a street after him, do they change the name of the Fox River to the Knile River?

Or that Lacy can't play on Thursday.
McCarthy on corners: Sam Shields still out, wonât play this week. Randall and Rollins will be part of the rehab group.
Translation.....none of them are going to play.
Knile is serviceable if he can hold on to the damn ball.. Could cost us games if he ever gets a larger workload, hopefully he just sees the game on 3rd downs.
I blame McCarthy for Knile Davis' ineffectiveness.
Silverstein believes they'll still bring up Jackson.
Jackson, who has been practicing a good deal with the offense since Lacy injured his ankle against the New York Giants, will be the lead back in practice this week. McCarthy wouldn't confirm that Jackson would be signed to the 53-man roster, but it remains an inevitability given Lacy's status. The Packers can wait until Wednesday or Thursday to sign him to the 53, thus allowing them to consider the roster move they'll make to find a spot for Jackson.

Thats what i am thinking
Oh woe is us......I see loss written all over this mess. But that's just me.
So what's on the Lifetime Channel Thursday night?

It took a while to get there---but it was worth it.
Ooooo, Lets see, on Thursday there's, Project Runway, and Blacklist and do the Cubs play??
#Packers RB Knile Davis: "I found out I was going to get traded yesterday evening, packed a bag and I was on the plane this morning."
#Packers RB Knile Davis: "It feels like getting drafted again. I feel like itâs a new beginning and Iâm excited."
Bennett on RB Don Jackson: Took advantage of off-season. Continues to improve in practice. Heâs moving in the right direction.
Why do i feel like the season is over?
Why haven't any of you used this line yet?
Because the season's been over for weeks.
3-2
14 games left.
Losing Shields hurts. Confidence is low. If offense was playing like the past I would feel better. The defense won't be able to carry this offensively starved team with this young secondary. Good experience for future, but not for this year. Sucks.

I think I'd take this, except for Harrison, he's with the Giants not the Jets.
Awesome

Think what we could have received pre Denver 2015...
Or Minnesoduh after Bridgey went down.
Just saw Lacy's injury is worse then originally thought, several weeks. From the Bleacher Report. Sorry can't link it.

That is a lot for a tight end. TT must be taking lessons from Pirates.
