The 2nd half begins. Worst 1st place team ever.

They were the worst 1st place team last year. So at least they are consistent.
Those fugly purple Rockies uniforms trigger me.
Grown men wearing purple. Are they from Minnesota?
Hunter Renfroe just made my decision to stay up late work out.

Cute pup. Question, does that breed grow fur under and in between its paws? My welsh springer Riley who I had to put down last year had furry paws that I had to clip underneath and in between her paws, that got matted up frequently. It was a chore. If I ever get another dog at my age it has to be small and very low maintenance, especially regarding fur maintenance. The Cavalier seems quite popular and I like how they look, but are they easy maintenance? Otherwise I'm thinking of a Boston Terrier.
Minnie is our 4th Cavalier. Yeah, the breed does grow a lot of fur in the paws which needs to be kept up with..theyβve never matted, but they can get quite dirty. Theyβre shedders too which is why we keep her short. More so than the fur, the cautionary tale (pun intended) about a puppy is the the amount of work they are. It brings you back to parenthood in some ways. That all said, the. Best companions you could ever wish for.
We have a 14 year old Boston Terrier. Absolutely love that breed. Would love to get another when he eventually passes. I hate even typing that.
Corgi/Mini Aussie designer dogβ¦.highly recommended. 2nd one for usβ¦.the best 2 dogs we ever had.
RIP Ruby.
Brewers extend Aaron Ashby. reported 5 years, 20.5 mill guaranteed.
Pocket change compared to football
Renfroe crushed that thing! Crew up 3-1

But itβs guaranteed. I read that Ken Griffey Jr is the 6th highest paid player on the Reds this year. He retired in 2010.
Prince Fielder made $18 million from the Tigers and Rangers combined for the last 4 years even tho he retired after the 2017 season.
8-1. Needed a game like this.
9-4 final. Good game fro the Crew.
Nice crooked number in the 1st. 3-0 Brewers.
ROWDY!!!!! Clutch!
Itβs a new game folks, 8-8 bottom 8
Huge double by Cutch. Crew up 10-8!!!!!!!!!!!!! Brewers get 3 in the 8th after 2 were out. All started with a walk to Yelich.
Two out rallies are cool,
MCClutchen with a lazer beem over the centerfielder drives in 2 more
10-8 Brewers
Hader to start the 9th
Grichuk struck out swing 1 0ut
Diaz struck out swinging 2 out
Hampson tripled to deep center
tying run at the plate jeeeebuss
Phew.
Hader sure makes it interesting .
Three straight wins over the Rockies, and a 2 1/2-game lead over the Cardinals in the Central.

When he fielded that last chopper you could see him freeze for a second wondering whether to toss it to Telez or step on the bag.
I guess they can unfire Counsell
There is Hader throwing to first to end the game, or this play.

Identical.

Hey the Mets will be done paying for Bobby Bonilla in 2035.
Larry Sanders just came off the Bucks salary cap a couple of months ago.
So, at what point do you move Devin Williams to closer role. Hader went about 9 months without giving up a run in a regular season game, and most of the massive increase in his ERA has been from two games (he gave up 9 runs and recorded one out in consecutive appearances on July 13th and 15th).
However, even throwing out those two games, he's not been dominant the last month or so.
Devin Williams hasn't given up a run since May 10th. He's gone 25.2 innings with 43 strikeouts, 8 walks, and 8 hits in 28 appearances.

2023.
Yup. Moving Hader out of closer role, or trading him would not be good team Karma.
As brilliant as Stearns has been heβs completely missed the opportunity to deal Hader for maximum return.
I loath him going to a team like the Dodgers but if you pay him 15-18MM instead of dealing him for a shit ton then Stearns needs to be fired tomorrow.
Closers are so sketchy to begin with and Milwaukee has Williams so make it happen.
But Iβm guessing they wonβt. Because itβs too logical and pragmatic. This team isnβt winning shit in the NL playoffs against the best teams as currently assembled. Hader canβt hit.
It's amazing to me that one person can be so incredibly stupid in so many different topics.
Had a shot in the 9th.
3-1 series always good.
Worst 1st place team ever.
