I'm really proud of DA, what he accomplished in Green Bay, and what he has accomplished in life.
But, he's no longer a Packer.
I don't care why he left, where he went to, what offers were made (or not), or anything else related to him leaving.
I don't wish bad luck, but I just don't care any longer about him (as a player). He ain't a Packer, and if you ain't a Packer, you ain't...

Yeah, I don't think Tae would throw Love under the bus like that...I think he knows he's got 3-4 years left himself, and if 12 hangs it up in 2 years, it's gonna be a while before 10 is an elite QB...maybe he can win, but he's just not going to be the guy he caught balls from his whole career.

Is Derek Carr as good as 12? No, but he's a starting NFL QB that gets a lot of blame for his franchises failings...which have been there well before he arrived. And he and Tae have been close since they were 18.

I didn't hear it that way.  I viewed it as DA knows his time is limited, and doing "great things" on this short window would be challenged with a new starting QB that might go through some growing pains.

Only thing I'm hearing that really matters is that in their conversations Adams determined that Rodgers is only going to play about 2 more years.

And I don't think it reflects on Love at all. Just uncertainty after 2023. Who knows what happens with Love after this year? He might not even be around in 2023 or 2024.

I agree that it always seemed him wanting to go to LV was because Rodgers time here is limited (though I assumed it meant this will be AR's last year).  Having a QB he already has a rapport with is worth a lot to a WR.

I'm sure Adams is being genuine about Love, and while I think Love is a good kid who has his head on straight and I root for the guy, it is concerning there's no real "hype" coming out of camp at all.  Everyone can't stop talking about Tyler Davis this offseason, the 4th string TE, and how great he looks but not a peep on Love at all.  It was the same last offseason.  It's starting to feel a bit like "if you don't have something good to say...".

And it still makes sense for "everyone" if Rodgers plays two more.

* Adams gets Carr to finish his career, avoiding a re-set.

*Rodgers gets to retire playing until 40 with the Packers.

*Packers still have a chance to start Love on his fifth-year option.

*Love's fifth-year option is starter money.

The only thing they miss is a starting QB on a cheap rookie contract for a few years but they also miss bottoming out to get one.
