I don't know about walking to the mail box, but I broke my leg exiting the place where I get my hair cut. I was walking down a wooden rain soaked ramp when I slipped and my foot got caught in the boards. I fell in a way that twisted my right leg and broke the bone just above the ankle. Now if he were talking ACLs - I have never had that problem.
As for riding bare chested, I will let the horse be bare chested. I need all the help I can get if I fall off.

Thanks, I should have included the "detail" that it happened in May of 2017 - 5 years ago? My how time flies. I was feeling good by the end of September.
I always preferred bareback. 
(The horse, not me...ha!)
Unfortunately the last horse I would ever own died in December. (She was 33 years old.) The end of an era. I got my first pony when I was 10 years old and had horses for most of the years since then. (I'm 69 now.) I admit, it's been hard.
