Thought this was interesting:
Since 2005, in the first four rounds of the draft, there have only been nine college pass-rushers who have:
posted at least a 4.67-second 40-yard dash time
were at least 245 pounds or heavier
posted at least a 6.92-second three-cone time
Here are those players:
Von Miller, second pick in 2011 draft
Vic Beasley, eighth pick in 2015 draft
Anthony Barr, ninth pick in 2014 draft
DeMarcus Ware, 11th pick in 2005 draft
Bruce Irvin, 15th pick in 2012 draft
Connor Barwin, 46th pick in 2009 draft
Cliff Avril, 92nd pick in 2008 draft
Zak DeOssie, 116th pick in 2007 draft
Vince Biegel is the 9th
Author of the article (Justin Mosqueda) has written for years on edge rushing prospects. Here.
Awesome read. Hope he sticks and finds mega-success in GB.
JUSTIS!

Interesting find Chili. Hope Biegel pans out and ends up being an impact player for our D in the future.
I really wanted Ted to sign Conner Barwin at the start of the FA period. I thought he might go a long way towards helping as an edge rusher and taking up the snaps vacated by Peppers and Jones leaving. He's been a pretty good player and seemed somewhat miscast last year when Philly changed to a 4-3 D with Schwartz as coordinator. Definitely a high effort, disruptive guy.
Vince stopped at Lincoln to thank his old coaches today! Amazing young man.
Fitting right in:

Now being reported as a minor hand injury (from Biegel himself).

I could sense you 'jonesing' to pull that image out again all the way from Minnesota. Happy you found this to be a good opportunity and nice start to your weekend.
Beats pulling your hammy getting up from the toilet after a night of $2 tacos at El Azteca. He will be fine.
I thought chickenboy would be busy waiting in the KFAN parking lot to greet kato.
It's like that old game of pass along the secret. At first it sounded like Biegel was done for the year, then a taped shin, and now it's a hand. MM will come out in a few days and say the undertaker is on the way...
Yancy was also supposedly hurt today, but I didn't here what happened. Maybe one of the bricks he calls hands fell on his foot.

That kid is adorable, chickee.

Yes, it does.

How many of his games did you watch while he played at Purdue?
Yancey and Biegel have truly been inducted into the GBP.

8 or 9.
Alright then. You've watched an extensive amount of Purdue games and hate the pick.

Holy **** dude, in the age of internet porn you spent that much time watching Purdue???
Maybe he meant Allie Perdue.
I don't know who that is, but that's about to change.
FWIW
Been watching hundreds of Biegel plays.. I think this was his best pass rush as a college player. pic.twitter.com/iari3V6Vrk

Biegel's go-to move is the long arm... But doesn't have the strength to knock the OT back & often gets caught when bringing outside arm thru pic.twitter.com/EJpQd5l9Dm

Biegels hand usage and technique is outstanding... Always playing with hands in front at POA and wide/balanced based to distribute leverage pic.twitter.com/aBljDlhz8M

Biegel uses that spin move and the counter spin wayyyyy too often... https://t.co/GNtw1jLaFH

I love the vids, but when I click on them, it comes up that it can't be played. Even on their Twitter account.
What's with that?
Biegel is Russian for Brad jones.

NASTY!!!
well, nasty beat on the OL, but he lost contain and gave up a big scramble...
So, no points? Dammit!
Wow, the O-line sure botched that play, it appears. The C looks just lost as the ILB drops. It almost looks like the RG was passing off the DT to the C (or just got manhandled and the C didn't recognize to help) and looking to help outside, but the OT only set to force Biegel wide.
His locker is between Perry and CMIII.
Rookie sandwich!
Unless it is an OL, don't pick WIS players.

well, that matches up with what I heard last week. I won't go into the chain of hearsay but it was reported by people in Wis Rapids that saw Biegel around town that he was walking gingerly with a considerable limp.
practice? we're talking practice? keeeeriste.
