Many people have left this board or don't post anymore because some posters believe their opinion matters more than then other posters.  These "others" then get indignant about it - which turns people off.   So, many people just don't waste their time with these low-information conceited posters anymore.  Me? I happen to like this board.  It provides much information about my favorite teams from the great state of Wisconsin.

I have a few comments to add to the discussion....

1.) I, for one, read an internet forum knowing that there are going to be all sorts of opinions that I agree or don't agree with and that I can read without getting upset because I know they are someone's opinion.  This is not to take away from the validity of SDPF's or anyone else's posts or points....it's just that I do not get bothered by things posted on a forum.

B.) I really stink at the quote feature apparently.

III.) I don't post as often as I used to because I pretty much ran out of funny in 2013.

I will say this.  I am in this forum because things didn't go well in another forum.  No matter what I wrote things just blew up.  Never say anything that would contradict the prevailing forum consensus opinion.  I use words like "I think" a lot - because it is just that - an opinion.  Believe me, I never want to say anything that would hurt someone.  I just like my Packers.  So I try to keep it light and share an opinion or two.  I like what I read here.  For the most part everyone can share what is on their mind.  I missed JAPF too - among others.  Good to see you back JAPF.  I am thankful for all who are here.

Somehow I either lucked out or did something right (take your pick) in the marriage department.  Mrs. GOL is an awesome lady.  We celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary later this year.  For a while in later September and early October I will be strangely absent from this forum.  I know how easily relationships can unravel, so I count my blessings every day.
