IR comin' up!
I really hate coming in a long topic thread......whew. Just want the Badger Biegel to stay and be a contributing member of the greatest NFL team EVER.
Goldie - maybe you should give the team a motivational speech.

I'll predict Biegel will start the season on PUP, and it wouldn't surprise me to have him go on IR, depending how season unfolds and how fast he heals.
Really sticking your neck out there Timmy.
Mess with Timmy, you mess with me.
Back off.

well, that's good news!

Hateful.
I have been on this forum for many years and I have been a friend of Timmy a long time.
Sir, you're no Timmy.
Well, that's interesting, neither am I.
Why do I have this feeling Biegel may never see much of the field? Strong likelihood he's on PUP and as a rookie that's a complete wasted year.

Depends on how you look at it. If his foot is "not ready to come off" yet, it is implied that at some point it will come off when it is ready.
There was once another Vince who said players had to play with broken bones, concussions, and severe lacerations. So what is this Vince's problem?
Reggie Gilbert likes this.
The foot is a different animal, though... they're trying to ensure it heals once and for all.
I think the best hope is that he becomes a decent rotational contributor by November/December. Which is about the time starters at his same position could use the rest.
That's about as glass 1/2 full as I can do.
Biegel missed most of his freshman year at Wisconsin with a foot injury but not sure it was the same injury?
It sounds like this recent event is similar to last year where he missed a few games at UW.
Foot injuries can be reoccurring so it's not a great sign.

His problem is he isn't that Vince.
Reoccurring is not as concerning as recurring.

It's OK; Timmy likes everybody.

What's that Blair? Timmy fell down the well?
Don't worry, Lassie will save him.

Bold, Jerry. BOLD!
Actually, I think the 'foot' injuries are the hardest to completely recover from. I guess Biegel's injury (Jones fracture) may not have as bad a prognosis as the dreaded lisfranc injury, but there's not much history of players rehabbing this specific injury. Other than his own, of course, and I'd say that it's rather poor.
Also, if his roster status is 'flexible' we may be able to keep another player at a position that needs some depth.
Not 'zackly cutting edge opinion, but whatta you expect for free?

I was referring to the cost of my opinions, not speaking of the board in general.
Your opinions are as valuable as those of a professional like Aaron Nagler.
/I keed, I keed!
Well, yeah, that was the point of my post.
Hey Timmy....you wanna go get a smoothie with me?
